I don't either, but they're offering it free this weekend in my area so that's how I'm seeing it now. See if you can see it as well. :yay:

I just signed up at that HBOGO.com site. Woot perfect I wish Starz did that

I have xfinity so hopefully itll be up early tomorrow morning

I knew they'd end the episode with

Jaime pushing Bran!

that was a great episode a couple of scum bags already LOL

brother and sister kind of crazy lol

Damn, that was perfect. And yeah, I knew they'd end it there, too. That was the moment that first hooked me (and probably most readers) in the book, so it was the smartest and most obvious place to leave off.

Even though I've never read the books I'm intrigued. Kinda hard to get to know such a vast cast but I'm sure they will have more explanation as time goes on.

The first thing I noticed was Joffrey Baratheon the little blond hair kid. I was like I know that kid he looks so familiar. Then it hit me. He was the little blonde kid from Batman Begins, the one Bats gave the cool gadget to, and Rachael tried to protect during Crane's fear gas release across the Narrows.

But yea I like the show I can't wait to see more.

So is each season suppose to be just one book?

Holy crap, I never would've noticed that if you hadn't pointed it out.

Probably until the 3rd one. With the length of that book, they may split it into two seasons. I know George R.R. Martin (the author) has said he's banking on that, because otherwise the show will catch up to the books before he finishes (he's notoriously slow at churning these things out).

Well that's the general idea, although the third book is so long that, realistically, I don't see how they could do it in one season. They've mentioned that, if they get picked up and make it to that point, they'd like to split it into two seasons.

So these books have been critically acclaimed eh? Once I start/finish the Dark Tower series I may look into it.

Viserys was a complete scum bag lol now that guy must die soon

now there are a couple characters i like already sean bean i will not include impossible to not like him

Tyrion - i like him so far very smart and clever
Jon Snow - he seem like a very sympathetic character to follow i liked him

Wow that was truly great. Best pilot since Boardwalk Empire's. There have been a lot of promising new cable shows this year (Boardwalk, Walking Dead, Borgias and The Killing), but this has clearly the most potential to be something special.

It was exposition-laden, yet somehow managed to be completely understandable and coherent despite introducing so many characters, allegiances and locations in just over an hour. I don't have all the names memorized yet, but all the characters left a stark (no pun intended) impression on me. The plot that finally started turning in the third act has me already excited for the next episode. It didn't blow me away, but it was really good and really promising.

Next up, The Borgias. But between this and Boardwalk, HBO is having an outstanding year.

also i must add one thing

Daenerys

With an opening scene like that, I knew the episode was gonna be great. HBO does it again

Hopefully this develops a strong following so we can get all seven books adapted.

holy crap i looked on IMDB who played the king are you kidding me lol

i did not even know it was him

I think I might have a new favorite HBO series. Finally, a show that blew me away from the first episode, something that "True Blood" and "Boardwalk Empire" didn't do. As great as Sean Bean was, Peter Dinklage looks like he may steal the show. That last scene...:wow: I think I may have to read the books somewhere down the line.

And LOL at seeing the kid from "Batman Begins". He looks almost the same.

So, how did the White Walkers look?
