He was sent to Arkham yes, but he escaped during the Narrows attack, and according to the Gotham Times has been "missing" since then. Needless to say, he won't be in TDK.

well someone is on the flat panel in the middle of the table.
looks like eric roberts

I took some better caps of the room. Eric Roberts is sitting on the left, and I'm just throwing this out, but the guy with his head down on the left (in 2nd pic) looks like Flass to me, it sounded like his voice too in the trailer but whatever. No clue who that could be on the tv either, he looks Chinese though so I think that could either be Edison Chen or Ng Chin Han, their roles are being kept secret though so I guess we won't find out anytime soon.

Is that really the best location the mobsters in Gotham can find to meet? A basement somewhere? Maybe it's meant to be symbolic. They've been driven underground because of Batman and the rededicated police force.

But come on...

Hmm, I remember Robert's saying this room is 1/2 the size of a football field. Unless he meant the studio its inside of

haha. Eric Roberts. The walking spoiler.

It's kind of hard to tell the size of the room from those screen shots, it may be bigger than it looks, but still you're right Sasquatchs, half a football field?

Yeah he may have just been exagerrating, still looks like a big room though, or there could be another meeting as well, who knows

Maybe it is just me but I want annoying, stereotypical gangster. The kind that Mr. J can just string around.

Oh God no, please. No more BB Carmine Falcone's

:hehe:

Hey they have to meet where the cops and batman would least expect....Question- and i shame myself for not knowing this by now but is the bank the joker robs in the begining holding the money for all the gangs or just one of em?

Got some caps from the trailer, let's see what else we can dig up, looks like there's a mob boss (most likely in Hong Kong). There are also some Chinese guys standing in the back on the left. Looks like this whole meeting took place in a kitchen of a bakery or restaurant.

Notice Boss Maroni at the left.
And that blonde guy, sitting at the chair, at right, reminds me of Legolas

The scene reminds me the gangsters´ reunion from Batman´1989.

Awesome. Well, I can definitely see Maroni, Gambol, Gator, Gambol's Henchman (Chucky Venice), Lau, and Lau's Bodyguard (Jamie Cho). I think one of Maroni's henchman played by Stephen Hanson is present as well. Looks like there are some Chechen's as well. Rossi definitely isn't in the room. I don't know who is on the T.V screen.

Wait, we know what Rossi looks like? Actually....who is Rossi? I've heard the name...

Kind of off topic but there are quite a few Prison Break guys in this movie.

I totally can't guess who that could be on the tv, it doesn't really look like Edison Chen (who cameos as a villian),

and it doesn't really look like Ng Chin Han either.

Its definitely not Edison Chen but in a way he does almost look like Chin Han, which would make sense since I'm pretty sure he is supposed to be in Hong Kong probably at this point in the movie.

Remember the casting slides? Lau is the crooked bank accountant who takes the mob money to China, either because he stole it or he wants to invest on their behalf in the China boom. The Joker has the money they had saved in the bank, batman then captures Lau and brings him back to Gotham. Lau cuts a deal, based on the casting slides, that he will testify for immunity and keeping the cash. They see him on TV, the mob bosses, and think crap where done for now. We know that a series of indictments are handed down on the basis of this. Remember what the Joker said "a year ago these cops and lawyers wouldn't dare cross any of you, I mean what happened?" Cue the heroic shot of Bruce Wayne.

Lawyers cost money, money that the Joker has he, I assume, will give them back their money if they "kill the Batman". Remember the Teaser about Alfred talking to Bruce about how he hurt them and how they are forced to turn to the Joker. This is why I think the Joker looked PO when the cash was on fire, in the TLH Bruce and Harvey do this. He has lost his power over the mob.

It's going to be interesting to see how the mob reacts to the Joker. Like he said, "to them, you're just a freak...like me!" This is going to be great. I'm wondering whether the mob turns on him by the end.

I'm also wondering on how the Joker enters the room and what the mob is talking about before he arrives, like "What the hell are we doin' here" "I dunno, I got this card" Haha

I hope theres some smart comments between the gangs and at the Joker, like "Nice makeup"

A line by the Joker when he walks in like "Thank you for coming, I hope you all didn't have any trouble finding a parking space" would be unforgettable too :funny:

So apparently at Maroni's trial, there will be several other "gangsters" present as well, including Rossi and a few other of Maroni's men. Something happens to Maroni's guys before they go on trial, and they have some "bizarre" scars on their faces.

This is of course the trial where Dent is scarred causing the courtroom to erupt into chaos.

I wonder where you heard this from, it's interesting
