The Dark Knight Gangs of Gotham City

Sure. Ever read this story?

Hmm, I havent yet. But I'll be looking this weekend now.

Hopefully the Jets and the Sharks will have a rumble.

I know there is an Asian gang in there. On one of the other extraing gigs I did I met one of the guys who played in it. I don't know the extent but there is a bunch of little montage scenes in there and one of them is the Asian gang stealing some loot.

How about Red Hood's gang?? I remember in The Killing Joke novel, the joker(before he was transformed into joker), was one of the last guys to wear the red hood in order to do a robbery at the plant.

I can't wait to see Gamble's gang. One of the actors playing one of his bodyguards used to be in this British soap called Dream Team, and he kicked ass in that, then I just found out he's in this film! Awesome.

Just have to add....I think that the mob and Joker scene should be similar to the one in the Crow, where Draven confronts Top Dollars gang in their meeting place.

Yeah me neither, I wouldn't mind dressing up as Gambol for the premiere, I mean if he has a distinct attitude and look I'd totally do it and sport a nice suit for the premiere, with my black ribbon on my lapel.

I said............Is the Falcone family confirmed to be in this movie as someone stated on page 1?

On one hand it wold be interesting to see the Falcone family pick themselves up, on the the other hand it might be uneccersarry baggage left over from the first film. We know the main boss is dead and there's a power vacuum, that's good enough. Having to identify with that boss when he's offscreen might be asking too much (alot of people might not even recall Falcone or even his face). If his son or daughter appears you have to connect them to a character and a plotline thats not even in the movie. I'd rather just move on and introduce new gangs I think. I also like the international feel the chechens bring, Gotham truly is a world center. I don't think Nolans Gotham is very realistic without motorbike gangs though. Every city has motorbike gangs. But instead of tattoos these guys should have neon paint on their faces, it will make the movie not so boring and sober and pedestrian. More bikes and less walking around.

I like your idea, just screw the neon; you saw what it did to BF and the Batmobile.:csad: Major Disapointment.:wow:

Let's see. We have a big Joker "war speech" to all the mobs and gangs of the city. We have an interrogation of the Joker by Batman which ends in Batman kicking the **** out of the Joker. We have a big showdown in the middle of an empty street between Bats and Joker.

We have the Joker addressing Gotham on TV. We have a Wayne party crashed by the Joker. We have what is supposed to be an unforgettable chase sequence featuring garbage trucks, cops, the batpod and a semi-truck.

We have Harvey getting scarred AND the reveal of Two-face. We have the Joker trying to assassinate someone in front of all the cops in the city, in broad daylight. We have the Joker terrorizing and then blowing up a hospital, all while wearing a female nurse dress.

And that's just to name a few. And then there are so many scenes we don't know about. I never really listed all the big scenes we know about before. Wow. 97 days...
Just bobbles the mind doesn't it? Just knowing all the stuff that's gonna take place in this movie.

What kinds of gangs are you looking forward to seeing that The Joker meets with? We know Sal Maroni & Gambol are 2 major players in the Gotham City underworld.

Eric Roberts described in this past interview about filming the gang meeting where the Joker has a huge speech with all the "bad guys of Gotham City" in a "big room, big as half a football field" What kind of gangs/gang leaders do you think we can expect at this meeting? Will this be a "Warriors '79" type of event or do you expect to see random thugs and criminals. Could there be Triads? Latin King-types? Russian mafia? a female gang leader? What other kinds of gangs will be fighting for control of Gotham?

The Gotham times mentioned that they were Chechens, hard bastards, I read a biography of a Russian soldier who was there during the first war, nasty nasty. Now the wars over they've moved off shore.

I was under the impression that the Falcone family was now under the leadership of Sal Maroni following the demise of Carmine Falcone.
