The Dark Knight Gator cast! Killer Croc?

For what it's worth: In The Prestige, Nolan presented a teleportation device - from the early days of electricity, no less! - as plausible. And Nolan likes to build on his foundations. So having founded a 'real' universe for Batman to live in, he might be willing to entertain some more 'fantastic' characters. I doubt Killer Croc is in this flick, but Nolan could be thinking ahead. As to 'why not do Penguin first', well, maybe we WILL see a full-blown Penguin before we see a full-flown Croc. Or maybe Penguin has been done to death, and Nolan wants to explore lesser-known characters first.

All this can only lead us to wonder how long Nolan expects to keep doing this series, anyway? I'm thinking he'll move on to other things after doing the next one, and someone else will build on what he's done.

That's not necessarily a bad thing. Although I am sure we all know a director or two who should NOT pick up the reigns. Me, I am above such finger-pointing. But you're not, and you know it.

Gator is just as much Killer Croc as AMH is the Riddler.

Case closed! Suit-case filled with clothes!

Psoriasis

Not saying the guy is Killer Croc. He's probably nothing more than just the average henchmen but we don't know that for a fact(set in stone). This is a discussion forum. If there's a thread for Sarah Jayne Dunn and a discussion is going on to whether or not is Harley Quinn or Bruce Babe #8 then why not discuss "Gator"?

man- that is some pretty gross ****...

So what do you think of the interview in which the character named "gator" was mentioned? Do you think it is just the name of a new character- possibly just another thug who gets his name called once or twice?

This guy is probably in one scene and gets pwned by Batman.

Probably just a street name, like C-Lo or Loc Dog or some crap like that. If he's on screen for more than 3 min. total i'll be seriously surprised. His claim to fame will probably be Christian's fist destroying his face.

I think it's just his name. Some of you guys read into things WAYYYY too much.

Finally, some people in this thread that agree with me. I felt like I was slowly losing my sanity to all this Croc talk.

if anything, this argument, is a croc.

He's a killer who looks like a crocodile.

right, they'll see a black man and think "crock of poo".

The similarities are indistinguishable!

That's what I've got from anything I've seen or read of him. I'd be surprised if he wasn't. It's like Panthro from Thundercats. When I found out he's black I was surprised, but it ALL made sense.

LOL.

After seeing Sin City, i thought that Mickey Rourke would make an interesting killer croc.

what is that a skin condis? and i know people will get ****y but why cant croc be a dude covered in tatts like that pic and thats why he has the name. you guys remember that leopard man in guinness world records?

I agree that I dont believe that Gator and Killer Croc are the same. Even if he is, I don't it will be a blatent reference, just like in Batman Begin with Zsazz. Gator, I'm assuming since he is filming his scenes in London, will be one of the prisoners on the barge. His name will probably not even be mentioned, and if he even is supposed to be the same character as Killer Croc, the only way I would think that Nolan would try to pull it off would be with the crocodile-tattoo idea.

The Prestige was based on a book of the same name, and to be fair, the book's premise was far more absurd than what happened in the movie.

Wow, i just read up about Psoriasis
woo nasty pics...

Moving on ya the book is more absurd then The Prestige though I thought both were really good. I think The movie did it perfectly.

The 3 extra "Y"s represent your split personalities. One for yuh yuh yuh, the second for wazza wazza wazza!, and the third for your rarely used zoom zoom zoom.

Over-analyzing things on the Hype? Nevah!

It would be cool if he is Killer Croc but I'm not going to be crying if it is not.
