The Dark Knight Gator cast! Killer Croc?

God, why hasn't this thread been closed yet? Killer Croc is NOT in this movie. You people stretch every piece of news 12 miles too long. The guy's a nobody, a henchman or street thug at best.

God, why are people with 56 posts trying to get threads closed instead of contributing to the discussions?

There is no discussion here. You guys are stabbing blind in the dark. You're telling me Nolan would have a Killer Croc cameo before he'd have, say, a Penguin cameo? You can't burn me when you know i'm right.

The Penguin is a much more significant and well known character than Killer Croc is. To just have him in a small cameo would be a discredit to the character. And even if this Gator character isn't Killer Croc, he is still a character in the film and there is no reason a thread discussing him should be closed, this is a discussion thread after all.

That's not the reason Nolan won't include the Penguin as a cameo. He won't include him because he feels the character won't fit into his "realistic" world, he's said it himself. What would make Killer Croc fit in if someone like the Penguin doesn't?

I apologize, I agree the thread shouldn't be closed, Gator is after all a character in the film. But you guys don't exactly lend yourselves credit as thoughtful posters by discussing the possibility of a cameo by a character you clearly know has no chance of being in this film. It just lends more creedence to the idea that we fanboys are melodramatic nuts who blow up every piece of news into a horrible mess of rumors and ridiculousness.

Really? Because, last time I read the script...

OH WAIT, WE DON'T KNOW! If you disagree, just say so man. There's no need to insult our intelligence.

It needs insulting if you consider Killer Croc to be a plausible villain in Nolan's realistic Gotham City. Joker doesn't even have permanent white skin for most of the movie. Why even make remote reference to a character whose entire body is covered in alligator-like scales?

Your completing forgetting the point that if, IF, Nolan were to put Killer Croc in his films he wouldn't be as farfetched as he was in the comics. He might just have a skin disorder but not one that gives him scales.

If the skin disorder doesn't make him look like a crocodile man, then he's not Killer Croc. You can't just slap the name on a guy with any old skin disorder. He's gotta look the part, scales and all. That's the only characteristic Croc has, besides increased strength. Apparently since Joker is not perma-white in this movie, you think that means you can just alter whatever you want about any character and just call him by his name anyways. You're searching for hope in what's nothing more than pure coincidence in the character's names.

That is your opinion- and not everyone on here has to agree with YOUR opinion. Just state what you think, let other people share their ideas, debate it- and move on. You THINK that he needs scales- others might not... its why we have these message boards.

I, for one, do not think he needs scales to be called Killer Croc. Why not just have nicknames for some of the smaller role villains and give them some sort of realistic nickname based on natural disorder? I THINK it would fly. In my opinion, not every villian needs to be a superfreak to have a nickname.

Then, finally, I'm realizing that people like you are the reason I had to watch a ******ed Bane stumbling around like a Zombie at the whim of an overacted Poison Ivy. After all, why make him a superfreak? He could just as easily be a useless inclusion to make fanboys wet, right? Why not just have Nolan wipe his ass every morning with a different Batman strip?

Umm...That's been going on in most comic based movies.

King Pin-African American.
X-men-(To many things altered to list)
Hulk(2003)-gamma bomb..
Ras Al Ghul -Not of Arabian decent.
Joker- Make up..
and so on and so on.
Things have always been altered in the movie world of comics and something will continue to be altered.

I agree, it has been happening a lot, but look at the results. Daredevil sucked, and many people weren't happy about the change to Kingpin. Hulk's gamma bomb origin has nothing to do with his appearance, which is what I'm referring to here. X-Men isn't exactly a blatant violator, since the majority of the characters are still easily recognizable at first glance. And Joker in no way reflects what i'm saying, because he still looks exactly the same, all that's changed is the REASON why he looks that way.

Now, realistically, if you just gave a black guy a skin condition, without reptilian scales, would you be able to immediately recognize him as Killer Croc?

Those people are lame.

sure it does.

depends on the skin condition.

Was Hulk any less green because a gamma bomb didn't explode near him? And what skin condition do you envision would make a man look like a crocodile OTHER than scales? A giant tail, maybe?

I am, and I'm imagining Nolan sitting down at his computer, reading this thread, and laughing hysterically at how ridiculous we fans must seem for thinking Killer Croc has any chance of being in TDK. And then he would get up and go tell whoever this actor is about how we're speculating about an appearance by a crocodile man based on his character's name, and he'd laugh hysterically too.

Not saying the guy is Killer Croc. He's probably nothing more than just the average henchmen but we don't know that for a fact(set in stone). This is a discussion forum. If there's a thread for Sarah Jayne Dunn and a discussion is going on to whether or not is Harley Quinn or Bruce Babe #8 then why not discuss "Gator"?

So you never stopped to think that maybe that "Sarah Jayne Dunn is Harley Quinn" discussion is just as ridiculous as this one?
