The Dark Knight Rises Killer Croc

They're both good choices for Croc. My top pick though is Derek Mears, who played Jason in the recent Friday The 13th reboot, and is also said to be a Predator in the upcoming Predators. He's tall, strong and has a swiftness to him. He made Jason very menacing and even scary in the F13 reboot, and I'm sure he can make Croc very intimidating. He seems to perform well with body language and movements. As for the voice of Croc, I think Michael Wincott's got a great gruff voice that would work very well for him.

what about this, cros is a man whose amassed great wealth through his fighting rings, animal versus animal, man vs man, man vs animal, and an occasional contestant himself, hes heaviliy scarred from his vicotries and ritual scarring all ove his body, and his teeth are filed to points, scales are tatooed over his skin too.

if u dont like the tattoes, he could have the actual disease, alla, epidermic hyperkeratosis

I would like Croc to work for Penguin.

Have him with a case of Epidermic Hyperkeratosis. He also has tattoo's across his body that look like the disease he has,to deliberately amp up his grotesque appearance. But working for Penguin, he is forced to cover himself up with a suit and gloves, which he hates, but remains silent about it. When Penguin wants someone 'taken care of",they are last seen (alive) with Croc.

I think by TDK, the way the stories are told feel like we are right in the middle and not still in the beginning, so it's only natural to have a third act and close that version of the story/continuity out, even if it doesn't get to a lot of other characters and such.
How can it feel like its right in the middle when its only Batman's first year? All those plot lines explore how the city would react to his appearence and how he is handling things as an inexperienced vigilante. How in the world is that in the middle of the story?
Because I'm not basing it off of comic accuracy. If you take it as a self-contained story, you have the introduction and establishment of the hero in the first film/act, and the deconstruction of him in the second, leaving a third for resolution. It doesn't have to be a 10-year story or what have you. Not that a third movie should end with Batman dying, but the overall arc of these chapters is naturally coming to a coda, just like the end of a graphic novel ends that story, but doesn't end Batman.

I also think it'd be too early (to reboot), and they should wait several years after the third movie is done. Obviously, some comic fans would like a movie every 2-3 years and not stop for any time at three, etc.. Maybe a new TV series would be better suited for that.
Why? People love batman and nolan and they want more. Its usually 3-4 years between each film so the audience isnt oversaturated with Batman. So what is your problem man? Let the rest of us enjoy our batman and watch the movies whenever you are ready.
It's not a problem I have with the movies....quite the contrary...it's because they are as good as they are that less is more. I just feel that as movies, they should represent a part of their era that came in and left on their own terms and didn't drag out too long, as I would with any good film. To me, that's more important than covering all the comic bases/characters. You have a chance for these pictures to stand as specialty items, instead of the start of a commodity. I think people will be fine taking a break from Batman and seeing what other characters are out there, then eventually seeing Batman again later on when he does restart. It'll help things feel fresher and newer again.

In any case, i really dont get your position. What is your problem if we get a good movie every 3 years? As i said, longer intervals dont mean better movies. And if you feel you will get bored of Batman, just stay away, i wont.
But he could be instructed to leave the door open for someone to take over after him instead of giving B3 a finite ending.

Well.......

“Without getting into specifics, the key thing that makes the third film a great possibility for us is that we want to finish our story,” (Nolan) said. “And in viewing it as the finishing of a story rather than infinitely blowing up the balloon and expanding the story.”...“I’m very excited about the end of the film, the conclusion, and what we’ve done with the characters,” Nolan said.“My brother has come up with some pretty exciting stuff. Unlike the comics, these things don’t go on forever in film and viewing it as a story with an end is useful. Viewing it as an ending, that sets you very much on the right track about the appropriate conclusion and the essence of what tale we’re telling. And it harkens back to that priority of trying to find the reality in these fantastic stories. That’s what we do.”

Just sayin'. :O ;)

Exactly what I was thinking.

Micheal Clark Duncan is definately my number one.

His voice and he has great acting skills.

His skin should look deformed, and his eyes should be the center of the character.

A possible story for croc, what if there is left over fear toxin(from scarecrow), in the sewers, it sits there creating this thick smog of fear gas, over time, when mixed with noxious fumes, it is a force to be reckoned with, so when people see a huge man down there who is severely disfigured, they see a crocodile man.

also i created this of a pic of vin diesel.

and i had to edit the photo quite a bit.

I think Killer Croc should be played by actor Michael Clarke Duncan.

Usually I'd think he'd be too much of an over rated choice, but I really like the actor and has an incredible amount of potential. Saw him in Green Mile a few months ago and couldn't stop crying; the guy is great. So give or take, he'd be a great choice; either him or maybe Robert Maillet from Sherlock Holmes and 300. I'd much prefer him as Bane, but he could also work as Croc easily. :woot:

If Killer Croc is in a Nolan film I hope they do it in the vein that was done in Arkham Asylum. The chase, the atmosphere, and the fact that you had NO IDEA where he would pop up made it downright scary.

Especially if you happened to use the grappling line and he quickly tries to swipe you down into the water sent chills.

What is it with the creators or that game making the villains downright frightening and making you want to turn it off due to the creepiness? :csad::awesome:

They're looking to shoot in New Orleans and that's the first villain that sPrings to mind. Any thoughts?

I remember I mentioned this about 3-4 months ago, when the first rumors of New Orleans came about, but most people said it was a stupid thought, cause it wont fit into Nolan's 'realistic' take on the series. I think it could work, and I'm sure there are ways to make the character a bit more realistic. Maybe a guy with messed up scars, that wears croc-skin boots?

I think it has more to do with the fact that its cheap to film in the NO, not that Killer Croc is one of the villains.

Though Killer Croc would be a cool villain to see.

Seriously? People said that? Now fanboys are attacking cities that exist in our world and call them unrealistic?

No, people were saying that Croc is unrealistic, not New Orleans.

Just because they're filming in New Orleans it doesn't mean the film is set in New Orleans or in a swampy area. They can dress the city up to look like any city they want. It most likely has to do with it being cheap to film there.

Yup, and if that's the case, we could be getting another side of Gotham, closer to BB.

Someone is actually making sense, lol.
