Does anyone know of any? We know of gay heroes, but what about the bad guys.

Loki seems to be hitting on Doom lately, but since he's now a woman I don't really know where that falls.

I would that is just loki playing tricks and trying to manipulate doom. Pied piper in DC comics is gay and a villain though

I think he's thinking of Electro, who was established as bisexual in that Marvel Knights series.

Others include Mystique and Destiny. And, uh, apparently Machinesmith and Man-Killer. Oh, and I'm pretty sure Mephisto is gay as hell. He hit on Nightcrawler once.

In DC, there's obviously the Pied Piper. Scandal Savage, Knockout (now dead), a couple gay angels over in Vertigo...

Loki might be hitting on Dr. Doom, but it's Doom who's fantasising about having Loki be his scantily-clad concubine...

Try to stick to just marvel. I thought mystique was bisexual? Has she ever loved a man the way she loved destiny?

Also what's this about Electro being bisexual? When did that happen?

Mephisto is Marvel's Satan, and thus would probably hit on anyone or anything. Temptation's part of the gig.

Yeah, really. I should hope Spidey came up with a good "AC/DC" joke. :spidey:

the joker in frank miller's DKR universe is supposedly gay.

With Doom, it's more about domination and power. He wouldn't **** Northstar, but would **** the Beyonder or the Sentry. And he wouldn't be gentle.

In Sensational Spider-Man #2 Electro hinted in a conversation between himself and a shape-shifting prostitute that he was indeed bisexual.

No, but he did make a bad Queer Eye joke about Max's costume. :whatever:

Loki and Mephisto are beyond human limitations on sexuality. Loki'll f*** anything in the myths, which is why he's the father of some mythological figures (Hela, Fenris Wolf, the Midgard Serpent) and the mother of at least one (Sleipnir). So he and Mephisto would be omnisexual, I guess.

If Xavin's idea of gender carries over to all Skrulls, they're also all bisexual, able to take both male and female form and equally comfortable in either.

There seems to be more gay heroes than villains. Do you think its because gay rights activist are worried that it will increase the already negative opinion of homosexuality?

Could be. I know most people who want to see more diversity in comics tend to call for more diverse heroes, specifically. They want people they and their kids can identify with, and that's the hero, not the villain.

Paste Pot Pete...he just had to be gay...I mean he was covered in sticky fluid constantly.

Possibly.
Magneto was Originally Jewish but they changed him to a Gypsy to avoid coming off as anti-semetic

Yeah, he's Jewish. I think his real name is Max Eisenberg now or something.

how would you feel if rather than a typical wife dies due to accident and then husband turns evil and fights spiderman thing, it was a gay couple.

like what if frank castle was gay(antihero, but he kills a lot)

certain people have this stigma about gays. they are still thought to be sissy and girly(they still have a hard time serving in the armed forces"

now gay heroes we can embrace, they can fight, they are decent people.

but we cant leave this one sided.

they are bad gays too.

would it be fair to limit the amount of black bad guys in hopes of not appearing racists.

More like Writers are worried that gay activists would be worried. (IMO) Just being really PC which is a horrible idea IMO. Thinking of Alan Moore and one of his remarks on Watchmen, he wanted to make them seem like real people, and he said that meant including a sexual identity (i think he was asked about the subtle romance with Metropolis and one of the others).
