I heard you have to beat Wave 50 5 times to unlock the Silverback for Horde.

I've been playing Horde off and on for the last few weeks working on achievements and I was happy because they were offering extra EXP. I was getting 4,500 ex for beating a single wave of horde on normal, now they took the extra points away and I only get 300 ex. Really annoying now that working for level 100 has become so difficult again. Hopefully they bring it back soon.

I popped in Gears 1 today and got to play a game online and I had a blast. I forgot how much fun Gears was compared to Gears 2. I even got the achievement "Don't hate the player" which I never thought I'd get.

I remember Epic promising a 30x XP week if Gears 3 won IGN's best of E3 award. They lost out to Bioshock Infinite (********) but Gears won the Most Anticipated Award. Surely that's work the bonus XP!

Be the highest point scorer in a game. I use to be good but I'd always face people who were insanely good and nearly 4 years later I finally GOT ITt:

I think I got that, but only because I went on a chainsaw rampage in one game.

I could never figure out the Chainsaw in the first one. But in two & three I am a beast with the Chainsaw & the first one a beast with the Shotgun & Boomshot. Do people still play the first one ? I may have to buy that on Games On Demand. My Game Disc got scratched heh

I was able to join a game and it started quickly after, it seems there are still some people online but not to many. I was lucky enough to find a match open yesterday.

If they do that I'll be playing non stop, if I'm not at work or school I'll be on there trying to finish of any achievements I have left and get as close to 100 as I can. (Seriously 2.0 will forever evade me)

Yeah, I was holding out for that 30x XP week Epic promised if Gears 3 one the IGN E3 award. It would have been a week of Gears to get that level 100 dammit!

I didn't know this until now but getting to hear the Gears of War 3 special edition 360 make noises as you turn it on and off made me want to buy it. I already have a newer 360 but that system looks so gorgeous. Gears of War is what got me to buy a 360 back in December of 2006 and I almost feel like this would be a hell of a way to top off my Gears of War experience.

Yeah, there was a Halo Reach console too that made cool noises. I think when you opened the tray, it made a shield recharge noise.

That sounds pretty cool but the design for it didn't watch my eye to much, with this though I can't help but be enamored by the overall product.

I also like the fact that it says just Gears Of War on the Console & not Gears Of War 3 like the Reach Console did

Gears of War is by far my favourite game series of this generation so there's no hesitation from me in getting it.
