The only way those two things would get passed is by executive order. The general American public don’t want it...otherwise Bernie would be the nominee right now.

If they think financing MediCare For All is too difficult YET, then separate it into a Pandemic Medication For All bill. In case of a pandemic, meds would be free for all.

Actually a majority of the American public supports universal healthcare.

Now, whether that means Bernie's idea of doing away entirely with private insurance, or what people like Biden, Buttigieg etc. advocate of an option, is the more controversial matter.

If Biden's health deteriorated or he died before November, who would take his place as the presidential candidate? Would it automatically be Kamala Harris or would they have to go through a whole candidate race again?

Or would the democrats simply have no candidate and would concede the fight to Trump?

I'm just loving the luck that the RNC convention has been having. Finally moved online, only to be likely be overshadowed by 2 hurricanes.

We just have to wait for the Q crowd to claim that the Deep State broke out the Weather Dominator Tech to show up Poppa Trump, no?

It's Dr. Fauci operating his hurricane machine powered by baby blood in Bill Gates' secret laboratory funded by George Soros to cancel the Republican convention and secure the election for Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton (er.....Biden/Harris).

Biden and Harris are just host bodies for Obama and Hillary to possess when the time is right.

In your honest opinion: what makes Biden qualified to be president.

He’s worked in both the White House and Congress so he knows how to work the system. I understand “career politician” can be a liability but only if you become beholden you lobbyists and forget who you represent. I know Biden has his own personal interests, but unlike the current administration, knows legally and traditionally what they can do and accomplish.

He was also there through the 08 crisis. The solution to Covid will be different than the Great Recession, but he has that level of crisis management to draw from.

His policy goals align more closely with mine than Republicans. I don’t expect him to get everything done I want or even he wants. He still has to work with Congress after all, despite what our current President thinks. But his actions will get us closer to my goals than the other guy will.

And perhaps most importantly, he’s not a selfish narcissist who will tweet a hundred times a day and actively try to divide this country further.

Agree with @Schlosser85. Add foreign policy experience. Though I'm not a fan of it in many cases, I'll take it over what we have now (ie alienating long time allies).

Overall, his experience goes beyond declaring bankruptcy, losing money on casinos, spending a ton of taxpayer money on his business enterprises, and setting up sham schools/non-profits.

That sounds like a disingenuous question. People know all about Joe Biden's experience.

I think when people ask that, they are trying to make it seem like you’re voting against Cheetoh more than voting for Biden, implying Biden isn’t really qualified to be President.

But the answer can be both: you think he should be removed from office and Biden is more than qualified to lead the country.

Yes to this. Qualified does not equal takes your positions on issues. Warren is qualified, Sanders is qualified; hell, practically the entire group of people that ran for the nomination were more qualified than Trump was when he ran the first time. Let me qualify that more qualified that Trump IS.
