I can see the movie ending with the Blockade Runner and Vader's Star Destroyer entering hyperspace.
If you have a tracker, you can follow. Because Hyperspace travel is done through lanes. So you'd know which lanes they were using. That'd be awesome.
EDIT: Although, in SW, ships can't follow each other through hypersace, right?
Yeah if Rogue One rocks, watching it back to back with Star Wars will be all kinds of surreal. Would work like a proper serial. I already get chills from watching RotJ and TFA back to back. It'd tie up nicely that way....I'm actually pretty excited for the day I can watch Rogue One and ANH back to back.
ABC Extended Interview (+Vader on set)
Kennedy & Edwards - http://abcnews.go.com/Entertainment/video/extended-interview-cast-rogue-star-wars-story-40657123
Gareth kinda confirmed a rumored cameo during that interview. "Industrial light and magic will be doing a fair amount of magic".
The same reason we never saw the Tie Advanced. They are special unit ships. We also see a version of the Ties later. They look like precursors to the Tie Interceptors. Also not sure how I feel about a new TIE fighter. This takes place really close to the OT. I can see the rebels not having vast resources so I can see that maybe they'd run out of certain kinds if they were destroyed, but if the Empire has a fleet of these sideways winged TIE fighters, why didn't they ever appear again? Small thing, but we wouldn't be crazy fans if we didn't notice.
They can fight in space. These TIE's are meant only for atmospheric battles which is why we never saw them in the OT.
The new ones? I thought Edwards said they were only meant for atmospheric battles? They can fight in space.
Where did he say that?...I thought Edwards said they were only meant for atmospheric battles? These TIE's are meant only for atmospheric battles ...They can fight in space.

What was speculated early on since all of these scenes are the more intimate character moments, I figure they must not have been as happy as they would have liked with some of the character moments (which does seem to be a weakness of Edwards).
Well with Disney/Kathy behind it, I'm sure this is all for the better.
There won't be many action scenes re-done. Even EW said that. The big action sequences were done, and with what time they have left not much would be able to get into post. So again, I would not take that to heart that any of these scenes are big action sequences. Smaller maybe I would agree with that.
But the big ones I'm sure are locked in.
