Nah, they have confirmed he is a smaller part of the film. And if they go overboard with that then you may have another Suicide Squad ordeal on your hands where people expected more of a famous character.

That's why all the merchandising has Deathtroopers on them and not Vader. Showing a glimpse of him is enough to pique interest.

I'm actually happy about the amount of Vader. They gave us just enough to let the GA know he's in the film, but not necessarily a major part of the film.

Unlike that recent comic book movie that showed another famous villain ad nauseum in the trailers, gave him top billing like he was going to be at least relevant to the story, then pulled the rug out from underneath everybody.
