Yeah, Doctor Jones is doing more than just stating his opinion. He's really going out of his way here. I'm not swayed by it either way, I can just tell he's trying pretty hard to project what is ultimately his own opinion.

I want Rogue One to be great. But I have had questions about it since I knew Edwards was attached, and they picked Jones. Who I adore, but I do think could very well be miscast. I never dismissed the reshoots as nothing. But I also love the footage we have seen outside of the one with Jones' speech. I have read very good things. So while I would not be surprised it isn't a good film, I am expecting a good one right now.

Definitely the same type of ship, at the very least. Interestingly, the Phantom slot looks to be empty. A cool detail that they added.

Im not expecting the Ghost Crew to be involved.

Gareth said that the film is full of visual easter eggs that ILM put in the film. He says there are even drawings of godzilla on the wall where Saw lives. Perhaps ILM put the Ghost in the film as a visual easter egg...

In the movie? No. Though now I can imagine what happens in the final episode of Rebels.

Eventually they'll have to explain what happen to these characters, though I'm sure Erza and Kannan are dead.

It'll be interesting if they ever, ever have a young Obi Wan movie. Well where he's reached middle age in his early 50's, doing a 'one last mission' and he stumbles upon a 'Rebels' character.

Also, it be a waste not to use Thrown for a live action film.

Yeah itll probably be like the old Clone Wars cartoon. That one ended with Anakin and Obi going to the Battle of Coruscant. I guess Rebels will end with them going to this battle. But it would be really cool if the Rebel's finale actually shows their part in the battle instead of ending as they head off to join the battle.

From Rebels side of things they seems to be making a bigger effort to connect the series with Rogue One, so yeah I could see Season 4 ending with a segue into Rogue One.

So yeah, that's totally the Ghost after losing the Phantom.

Not sure where Rebels is at this point in season 3. Ezra is older and taller now. Some time has obviously passed. When he met Leia in season two, she said she was 16, meaning it was at least three years before A NEW HOPE.
