So yeah, that's totally the Ghost after losing the Phantom.

Not sure where Rebels is at this point in season 3. Ezra is older and taller now. Some time has obviously passed. When he met Leia in season two, she said she was 16, meaning it was at least three years before A NEW HOPE.

They should be roughly 2 years out from ANH.

I think it may have been more than rumors. I seem to remember Filoni or someone on the show mentioning the four season plan.

Well Filoni is already working on another project. I could see it ending with 4 seasons, especially if we are finally going to get the post-RotJ Luke, Leia and Han series.

Yep. The idea seems to be that Rebels was always something to tide us over before Filoni moved onto a Post-ROTJ series. The 4 season plan makes sense because it'll mean that Rebels ends roughly around the time VIII comes out, and we'll have gotten more info on the state of the Galaxy during that 30 year gap. I think Filoni even mentioned that he and Rian were hanging out a lot, so maybe that's also part of it.

Plus, Filoni is no longer supervising director of Rebels for the current season, presumably because he's been promoted and is working on the new series.

I love Rebels, but that is my dream series. Luke as a young Jedi, a chance to see Leia and Han in an actual relationship, the end of the Empire. I want it so much to happen.

Thing is, would it fit? Hamill is my idol and his voice work is great, but he hasn't sounded like young Luke is a long time.

Yeah, it wouldn't surprise me at all if this was the era that Filoni and his team have had their hearts set on for a while now. It's got the big, classic characters that everyone loves and theres at least 20 odd years for them play around with.

I think Rebels would end with them going off to battle, they can't really end a Disney XD show with a bunch of main characters dying, can they?

I imagine there will be some conclusion for certain characters but id be surprised if this show was made just so they could all die at the end.

I see, perhaps the Super Bowl in February with a 30 second spot? Followed by a full minute trailer online? That would be my guess if they pass on Rogue One.

Definitely the same type of ship, at the very least. Interestingly, the Phantom slot looks to be empty. A cool detail that they added.

Ghost is technically an "ugly" ship - so it's more likely to be the same ship from Rebels than another ship modified to look exactly the same. (Unlike the Mellenium Falcon which is a Corellian YT-1300f light freighter and the one we saw in ROTS)

I guess it depends on at what point it goes from being "modified" to an "ugly"
