According to Lucasfilm, the Ghosts of Geonosis is set "in a time period just prior to the events of Rogue One."

I assume it was Jyn and Cassian that Vader killed. Personally I'd have preferred the audience thinking those two were going to get away. They are on the ship in the hallway and then the lights go out and breathing is heard then Vader ignites his saber and they die trying to hold him back long enough for one of the crew members to get the plans onto the Tantive IV. Them facing down a terror like Vader to make sure the plans definitely get away would have just seemed more heroic and complete to me than them standing on a beach arm in arm waiting for a shockwave to hit them while Vader is going to get the plans on the ship.

What's in the film will do tho. It could have been handled worse.

Actually, I liked that Jyn and Cassian got at least a few moments of peace before dying, after all they'd been through.

The end and the way each died was fitting. I liked that Vader just mowed down the faceless grunts with relative ease. You wouldn't have gotten that had they placed some of our heroes in that corridor.

They could have let Jyn and that dude kiss in the end! At least give them that moment..

Why is Vile still so focused and worried about Saw and reshoots? I feel like that's all I see him talking about after the film. I feel like sometimes he doesn't read or maybe just ignores facts or certain things people say. Like what Roose said above about Filoni's comments.

Same super glad they didn't make it all romantic with the cliche kiss. It worked perfectly how it was done. Having Vader kill them wouldn't have the same impact.

I loved the touch that they didn't even know if anybody got the files. It makes her whole "chance after chance until we're out" speech even more powerful when you think about it. They both knew that was it and they did everything they could.

Put me down as one of the folks that glad Jyn and Cassian didn't kiss. I was worried they were about to in the elevator. Would've felt very unearned and forced, imo of course.

Regarding the supposed alternate Vader scene - yeah, I can definitely see why they changed it if that's true. It takes a lot of the BA out of it.
