Dunno, hope this project doesn't go down the crapper because he can't finish it. From where I'm standing, it could be a very interesting story.
toya thegr8 said:No offense but CC is old, very old. Full recovery might not even be possible. He needs to be relaxing and reading stories not stressing and writing them. But hey, if he can then fine but if he can't(soon) pass the project onto someone else.
well people wanted it. Marvel ran a poll about 2 years ago and this project is what won out so CC is finally getting a chance to write itAfter X-Men:The End, and his current Exiles run, do we really need ANOTHER of Claremonts alternative version of the X-Men?
Holy CrapChris Claremont: Fact is, for me -- my favorite Rogue/Gambit resolution was established in X-Treme, with both of them living pretty much happily ever after in their house in Vale Soleda, and then moving on to the bitter-sweet conclusion of X-Men: the End. On the other hand, there's a sequel of sorts (there's always a sequel of sorts) to that story in GeNext, wherein we find out what happens to Olivier Raven, son of Gambit and Rogue, who seems to be very much a chip off the original block.
Trust me, it'll be fun. (And if GeNext sells, who knows what might happen next? We might get picked up for another "season!")
