Gerard Butler and Abbie Cornish in Geostorm

This movie looks so bad...so, so bad.

Agree... Ed Harris should NOT had been in this.

Brave the Storm. Ahhh, timing.

A weather related PR nightmare for a movie about Mankind's futile attempt to control the weather.

I can totally see some folks saying that WB are trying to exploit the recent natural disasters. Not to make light of the situation, my heart goes out to the victims of the recent Hurricanes but this is really funny. WB will hafta prepare themselves for some backlash. This is a rather unfortunate situation for the studio. I feel bad for them. Maybe I'm overthinking it and this will not face any PR backlash.

So they're only sensitive when it's a poster that isn't from America? :o :hehe:

I feel like you know who 8s gonna watch this and wonder if we actually have this technology.

Volcanism and earthquakes aren't weather related.

I can't wait for this movie to come out so I can stop seeing the trailer everytime I go to the movies

I feel if they had gotten some more charismatic actors I'd be interested. Gerard Butler? Abbie Cornish? Jim Sturgess? Jesus ****ing Christ.

The reviews are pretty much what we were all expecting. $120 million budget (Deadline says could be higher)... :lmao:

Also, the first poster they released for this WAY back looks like a straight to video thing.

I may go see this for the spectacle. I have that movie pass so I feel I'm not wasting money.

The actual production budget before the re-shoots were 58.2 million. The budget final shouldn't be more than (78-83) million with heavy re-shoots factored in for the final production budget estimation. Even then I'm possibly over-estimating the budget for the re-shoots.

Seems like it would be worth a watch just to see all the buildings fall down. :p
