I f**king loved it and it was 1hrs49mins of my life well spent. I was initially thinking it'll be a guilty pleasure or 'so bad it's good' kinda deal but I'm surprised that I loved it without any baggage. Three things I didn't like would be 1> Richard Schiff. He is the senator at the beginning of the movie and his acting was particularly bad IMO. 2> Andy Garcia as POTUS. It looked like he was just there for the paycheck and put bare minimum effort in his acting. 3> I would have wanted more destruction porn tbqh. I frankly think there wasn't whole lot of it. But Geostorm was entertaining AF. I knew exactly what I was getting into and I got more than I bargained for. Gerard Butler played his part with conviction and cracked me up from time to time with charming wise-crackers. Abbie Cornish was a total babe. Zazie Beats was awesome as Dana. I'm hyped for Domino nao that I have seen how she can play off of her co-stars. She was very good. Overall, Geostorm was fun and enjoyable. I'll probably see it again sometime. I'll be in no hurry but I definitely want to see it again someday.
I liked it. I thought it was a pretty creative take on natural disaster movies. What I hated? Freaking Jim Sturgess. Excessive mouth-breathing is NOT acting. Ugh.
