Basically a new internet series he has going that will debut on the 10th. It's not on tv, so wouldn't really fit there. Between this, Family Guy, Cleveland Show and American Dad, this fool is cleaning up big time.

Just looks like all those "Remember the time when...." clips from Family guy, but without the Family

I may check it out, can't be any worse than American Dad, that show just doesn't make me laugh like Family Guy does.

American Dad is actually funnier to me than FG, because while I do laugh at the little sketches from The Griffin clan, American Dad is satirzing the whole conservative thing, which is hilarious to me.

And see, I"m the total opposite. I enjoy the sketches more.:csad:

MacFarlane is "TV's most innovative mind?" Really? Seriously?

Whatever. I've always hated Family Guy's brand of easy, cheap, random jokes and I always will . :down

Could be funny.

I'll be looking forward to this.

The Bob Marley one was a little too predictable, but the Sarah Jessica Parker one did make me laugh.

Glad I'm not alone in the hate.

Seems like it'll be interesting. I'll have to keep an eye on this. This'll be a good thing to tide me over until new Family Guys finally come out.

Here's one of the new clips - Super Mario rescuing Princess Toadstool.

Lame.:whatever:

See, I realize that I'm supposed to think that's awesome and hilarious because it features an '80s pop culture reference aimed at my Gen-X age group. But a cheap concept-gag that happens to feature the Thundercats or Knight Rider is still a cheap concept gag.

Great. Just what the world needed. More crap by Seth MacFarlane.

I'll probably check it out I like mindless comedy. Not everything has to have some deeper meaning to be funny. ATHF and Robot Chicken has that same pointless comedy thing going and I still laugh at those shows. It almost seems chic now to hate MacFarlane currently, cause his comedy isn't "smart" enough. That's stupid enough to make me laugh. Either abstract comedy works for you or it doesn't, I don't get what's to hate about it though.

I don't hate MacFarlane, I just think American Dad sucks and that Mario sketch didn't make me laugh at all. Family Guy makes me laugh.

I wasn't singling anyone out, didn't even consider you part of that group, just a general observation that comedy snobs seem to be all over about this. I just happen to find stupid comedy funny, but even if I didn't like it I wouldn't care enough to actually comment on how much I hate something I don't even watch, you know?

I totally agree, although it might not be considered "smart" humour I don't personally care what anyone thinks of it...if it makes me laugh, then it makes me laugh....I enjoy a lot of different types of humor such as slapstick, satire, sarcastic...although I couldn't watch Family Guy all day I wouldn't mind watching a show or two if I haven't seen it before.....if there is somthing I don't like I just change the channel....and look....there is always something else on....

His Youtube front page items suck, i didnt laugh once

Actually, I've hated Family Guy from day one when it first debuted on Fox however many years ago.

And currently, there are still the VAST majority of teens and 20-somethings who think Family Guy is "f***'in' awesome!", despite any backlash that might be going on right now.
Yes, it's a specific kind of comedy that appeals to some and not to others- that's a given about comedy in general. However, when the promo labels MacFarlane "the most innovative mind on TV" when he's just cranking out the same random, sophomoric pop-culture stuff he's always done, I'm going to call BS.

The thing that MacFarlane does is hit that little nerve center in the brain of people that are nostalgic, people that like gross-out/shock humor, and people that like insult comedy. Those are the three main functions that cater to his fanbase, and a lot of people fall in those categories.

Ok, so, you've never heard any exaggerations before on television?

Call BS, protest, do whatever. Personally I just change the channel, but however you spend your time is your choice. I've heard the Hills is a BS show by enough people that I've just never watched it. I don't spend energy hating something I don't care about to begin with, but that's just me.
