Marvel Film+Horror Movie

No, I highly doubt they could do something THAT different and make a decent profit. Not saying it COULDNT be done but Marvel has not done horror movies so I wouldnt expect it to be decent.

Why doesnt everyone just hope that Ghost Rider II is much better instead of complaining about it? lol

ghost arent nessasarily cinfined to horror, casper anyone? lol
but yea, Ghosts are not confined to the horror genre

Why can't Ghost Rider be like Blade in tone of how it should be. Blade had some horror aspects but it was in no way a horror film. It was a mixture of action/fantasy/horror.

Ghost Rider is more of Horror + Fantasy I guess....

It's anything but the first Ghost Rider movie. As much as I liked the origin story and a few other portions of the film, it was just badly made overall...

I think Blade would be perfect template for a GR movie, but GR wouldnt necessaily have to be as violent, after all, he hunts demons and things that arent human, so blood can be showen but green/orange or whatever colour blood, it should primarily be an action movie.

Yea SCARY does means GORY.

The first movie did none of both

I actually like to see GR be somewhat violent with good amount of blood. I mean the movie will be Rated R I guess or hope as a character like GR needs to be R Rated so we can really show off the character and his story.

you dont really need that, yeah it can be violent, it would allow for more brutal fights and stuff, but GR doesnt NEED gore

i really didnt consider it gore, i thought of it as violent extras lol, kinda like blood in any action movie cantreally be considered gore

Ghost Rider should have "fantasy gore" like them exploding into dust or something. Not really blood if you are ghosts and such

The movie could have no gore IMO as long as it has a great cast, great suspense, and great action. Although, fickle as I am, a little gore would be nice.

yeah i agree, a little blood here, a bloody squirting stump when a limb is ripped off, that kinda stuff

^ Me 2. If done right the sequel could be pretty good.

Here are some directors that I think should direct Ghost Rider.

Joe Johnston (The Wolfman 2010 remake, Jumanji, The Rocketeer)

Guillermo Del Toro (Hellboy, Hellboy II, Pans Labyrinth)

Tim Burton (Sleepy Hollow, Edward Scissorhands, Batman, Batman Returns)

^I believe the Crank directors are doing so its in their hands now.

Is David Goyer confirmed to write and is Cage returning? Sorry if this has already been answered.

Cage is confirmed as Johnny Blaze/GR again. Eva Mendes will not return.

There any voice about a come back by Peter Fonda as Mephisto (it will be cool).

Crank's directors will direct it. The screenplay is written by David S. Goyer. I don't know if they rewrite it.

I'll give Cage one more chance to impress me as Blaze. Upon my first viewing, I liked him in the role, but all subsequent viewings, I kept feeling he was wrong for the part. Kick-Ass really helped me start liking Cage as an actor again, so I really hope he can deliver for this.

I'm excited about another GR. I'm hoping for way better demons and much longer fights.

This movie/sequel/reboot needs a good balance of suspense, action & horror.

Yea SCARY does means GORY.

The first movie did none of both

Not really, some of the highest regarded horror films out there are very light on gore. I don't think gore is all that scary to be honest. It's gross, but it doesn't frighten me. I'm much more of a fan of the suspense and buildup, and if you're going to have gore, you have to earn your moment, like in Alien.
