I'm looking forward to this. I actually liked the first Ghost Rider movie, unlike many.

Agreed with both of you, I liked it, but it should have been better, he shouldnt have kept the tone the same as the early 70's comics, it works for people like us who have read them, but others would think it was cheesy, which was evidently a big complaint about the movie.

Yeah, that's correct. Depp and Eric Bana were both contenders for the role of Johnny Blaze/Ghost Rider.

^The last movie made money for the studio even before the DVD sales came through, which were better than X-Men 3's, so the movie definately made money for them, I think it will get made, when it gets made is up for debate though.

I had seen the original Ghost Rider once until recently. I watched it for the second time and it really frustrates me to know how much better the film could have been. There were some really cool moments in the film.

Things I liked-The special effects. The casting of Sam Elliot and Nicolas Cage. Johnny Blaze becoming Ghost Rider for the first time. The penance stare. The prison break scene.

Dislikes-The villians. The horrible acting of Eva Mendes. Way too many plotholes. The ending was dreadful. The fight sequences. Ghost Rider's voice.


Hopefully, the sequel will be much better.

And honestly I wanna find a copy of Goyers draft.... he's a good writer and if it has the tone of Blade that makes me excited cuz I love the Blade Trilogy
