People were leaving in my theater.

I saw a 10 pm showing the opening night. There might have been 20 people in the theatre.. a group of 8 kids were leaving and didn't say one nice thing. I think I was the only one aware of GR and what I was supposed to be getting for my $ 9.50.

Everyone is talking about the money its making.. open it in the summer or christmas and see if it does this money. When the choices are few, and even if the choices are bad, you are going to go see something.. ANYTHING. I was jones'n for a concert in 1982 and I ended up going to Survivor / REO Speedwagon just because thats what was there. Last time I would ever do that again.

And also; I saw this (the 1st GR movie mind you) on a Monday night and there were a good amount of people in the theatre. I'd say over half full.

I dont think a sequel will be made,in the GR sub-forum people are comparing GR to Daredevil,but GR is just a little bit better.

I'd completely disagree since Daredevil's director cut is loved by a lot of people (including me), but after the 2 day delusion that Ghost Rider was good, I've come to terms with the fact that it bit it big time. The only reason they're getting a sequal is because of the 51.1 mill.

I couldn't believe when I say Daredevils directors cut my first thought was wow Now I don't need to pretend to like the movie this version kicks ass. from that there should have been a sequel. Not ****ty Elektra. I'm sorry she was Hott but Damn that movie was horrible I couldn't even pretend to like it.

^ I didn't mean it was "currently" filming. LOL Will be filming per the story. I'm sure the green light will come for certain after the first couple weeks of DVD sales. TV rights will be sold soon if not already.

Hey, man, I saw them on that tour. It wasn't THAT bad! I think REO had the #1 song at that time, right?

Don't even compare that to the GR film.

I'd completely disagree since Daredevil's director cut is loved by a lot of people (including me), but after the 2 day delusion that Ghost Rider was good, I've come to terms with the fact that it bit it big time. The only reason they're getting a sequal is because of the 51.1 mill.

While I admit that GR was far from perfect, I'm also completely reserving full opinion until the Extended Cut comes to DVD. Hopefully this will cement a few parts of the film I found lacking (the backstory and character interplay).

I enjoyed GR more than the theatrical cut of DD, so I've got some hopes there.

I just want the producers to bring in a Johnny Blaze villain like the Orb, Snakedance, or maybe the Trapster. My biggest problem with GR was that it was based on the Johnny Blaze character, yet the whole film felt more like Dan Ketch.

I dunno, Blaze's is the more well known character than Ketch, and he was the original, so i doubt they would just get rid of him, especially someone like MSJ who is a big fan.

That's a damn shame, it really is. That's what kills great movies, are stupid fanboys who create films 'in their own vision'. Why do you think AvP sucked so bad?

AVP was horrible...ugh...this could have been 20 times better under the right director, writer, and producer.

You know the problem with Ghost Rider and AVP is that the characters are SO COOL, that they can get away with bad writing, and so the Studios are going to maximize their profits by accepting a mediocre script done cheap and will just expect people to watch it because of the appeal of the visuals...unfortunately this has worked because AVP is getting a sequel.

But I have some hopes for AvP 2...Paul Anderson isn't directing it. t: The two brothers who did the special FX for the X-Men movies are. So let's not freak out yet. Let's wait and see.
