Guys, saw this thread while surfing the net. It's probably buried somewhere in the archives but stumbled on it while googling. Its dated sometime '06 and is a discussion (with eager anticipation, lol) on Way's run before it came out. Knowing wher his run went, its funny how everyone seemed so hyped about it!

It reminds me of the first page of this thread. :woot: It was nice when we had our own section.

The good ole days with Mod Rider keeping all the noob riders in check, and visits from MSJ, Howard Mackie, Jarv, and even the Producer of GR who's name I forget.

They shouldn't have gotten rid of the GR section. I bet if that was still up, Howard would still be posting. I think a lot of people think that since the GR board is gone, that the topics are gone too.

Gary Foster? Yeah, we should have our own section up again. That'd definitely beef up the activity around here. Never got to read any of MSJ's posts. What about the movie did he talk about?

Unfortunately (or perhaps, fortunately) Ghost Rider 2 is nowhere near a reality at this point. Since that's the case, the sub-forum was unnecessary. It was nice to have that all together where we could meet, but it could be used for other areas, other movies. Still, though, Dragonball? Damn.

At least we have the thread to migrate to.

Pretty much everything. There was a MSJ Q&A section where he would answer questions for the hype fans, and I think Gary Foster would pop up now and again and give a few updates.

I miss it.

And yes, the forum section is sadly missed...

I really think its because the forum is gone. It was easy to get all your GR fix in one forum but now we have to search through the entire SHH board to find the old topics.

Anyways, have you been liking Jason Aaron's run and the Dan Ketch mini?

I promise to read Ghost Rider #28 by the end of today and get my thoughts up.

That, and Annual #2.
 
Still don't like the art. But the story is covering for it. Miss the balance of good art and good story. And I still need the Blaze cover to issue 28.
 
Ok, so I just finished #28 and...AAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGG

Everything was fine up until that last splash page!!!!!! DAMN YOU JASON AARON!!!! #29 better hotter than a bat outta hell.

As for the flashback at the back; it's alright. But there seems to be a large gap in b/w Noble Kale coming around back into Dan's life, then talking about Johnny assuming the Rider again. When did Noble Kale return after Finale? Must be a reference to Peter Parker: SM #93.

Oh, and Annual #2 was bleh. Terrible artwork, and a story that went nowhere.

Speaking of Noble Kale, just wanna clarify something... the entity that Dan had Mary exorcise in DK #1, that was Noble right? Noble after he enterd Dan again cuz he couldn't live without a host?

I really miss you guys, by the way. One day just lead to another and the board just vanished in my mind.

Is the GR hype thread still around?
 
If you still have it in your subscriptions you should be able to find it.
 
Are either of those angel-looking guys supposed to be Zadkiel? Do we know what he looks like yet? I think the one from the Dan Ketch cover would be a pretty cool design for him.
