Ghost Rider vs Vengeance in Movie 2?

I love VENGEANCE; he´s a powerful character, since he first appears, by the pencils of Ron Garney and later the great Sal Larroca. The idea of a GR nemesis is perfect.
As it seems, the GR movies will be a JB/DK mix, so why not mix the villains and storylines? Vengeance´s should be nice for a second movie.
And boldly speaking, i´d like to see in the MSJ movie more references to the GR universe:
-i know there´s a Officer Edwards character in the movie. So, why not Cap.Gerry Dolan? Why not he´s having a young rebel partner, Mike Badilino?
-Dolan having a young daughter, Stacy, who, by the way, is saved by GR and interviewed by Roxy, in Rebel Wilson´s place ( i don´t think RW is good for the movie ).
-Badilino is someway seriously affected by the Spirit of Vengeance in the first movie and returns as the main villain for the second.
-And, most of all, a dream of mine: an opening scene, in Wild West, featuring a demonic horseman called... Carter Slade.
Anyway, that´s just ideas.
Fan stuff.

 

I always liked the idea of Vengenace before the whole Missing Link/Seige Of Darkness failure. Before he was given the Medallion of Power fragment.

Otherwise, Vengeance is one of the few ideal villains for Ghost Rider. Plus seeing him redesigned and cgied on the big screen will be a hell of a sight to see.

I still want Scarecrow or Zodiak as a subvillain, but Vengeance would be a great main villain. Actually, wouldn't mind seeing Vengeance completely take out Zodiak. Always thought it would have been a well drawn series of pages. Of course Zodiak died 19 issues before Vengeance ever reached the pages of Ghost Rider.

 

I think he'd be perfect for a sequel, the anti-Ghost Rider throwing those spike that come off his shoulders, a bike chase scene, two flaming demons going at it in the final battle, what's not to like.

 

would be great but we must remember it always comes down to the money the cgi for gw2 might cost alot.

 

Dangerous territory. Every comic fan probably wants to see their hero take on his/her opposite on screen (Spider-Man vs. Venom, Hulk vs. Abomination) but only by delving into the psychological aspect of Vengeance can this be a worthwhile movie.

 

Badalino selling HIS soul to take down Ghost Rider would certainly show Mephisto as the master of the game.

 

At the rate things are going the sequel should be out by the year 2020.

 

I would love to see Vengence in a Ghost Rider movie, just not GR2. I think it would be to early to see him. They need to atleast introduce Dan in the second one and then maybe have vengence in the third movie. I would still rather see characters like, Deathwatch, scarecrow or Snowblind first.

 

Yeah he did exude power. I recall thinking he was almost exactly like Zarathos in manner and power, the only real difference was their appearance.

I never cared for vengeance, he always just seemed like a needless, cheap, bulkier copy of GR. Of course thats just my personal on that.

 

Vengeance would be awesome. I'd have him be a second villian though,Mephisto should be to Rider what Magneto is for the X-Men

 

Indeed, those would be prefered over Vengeance. Although I still feel Dan Ketch's character should be abandoned from a movie standpoint, since the current movie incarnation, although in name is Johnny Blaze, is more like Ketch's Rider than Blaze's incarnation. So the introduction of Ketch into a movie, albeit a high point (or as much as the Ketch character is important to my childhood, would still be a low point to me) for some, would be rather pointless, unless it is obvious that Cage could not do a second movie and a new story has to be introduced.

Although, even without the Ketch character, a Vengeance story could still be possible if written right, but Rider has a plethora of villains to choose from, so we are not limited to Vengeance.

 

I didn't loved vengeance at first....only when he got mad he started to appeal me a little, alll that "No more penance" thing and that explosive hellfire...

 

It does not matter if Cage can do another movie or not. There have been numerous actors playing Batman, yet it is still bruce wayne. There is a new actor for Superman Begins, yet it is still Clark Kent. If TM decides not to do Spider-Man anymore, I venture to speculate the new actor will still be playing Peter Parker.
They have combined the look of the 2 series for this GR movie and decided it is Johnny Blaze. The best and most logical course is to stick with Blaze for any and all movies regardless of actors.

 

Vengeance should have remained a villian. IMO

 

If Vengence were to show up in the movies he would have to be a completely different threat from the main one (ie: Lilith). The Baldino aspect of Vengence is interesting but one he becomes vengence he just becomes a bigger version of Ghost Rider just like in the Midnight Sons series. They would have to treat him as an opposing side of vengence. I say bring him in like in the Carnival of Carnage. Fighting everyone in his path.

 

I'd like to see Ghost Rider face Vengence. This would be one of the best Marvel movies. What do you guys think?

 

That's a good idea. They could have him in the sequal, or the third movie. But how would he look? He'd have to be really tall and buff like in the comics. The hellcycle would have stand up to the rider's too.

 

Before they even put Vengeance in it, they should put Dan Ketch in it. As an enemy I think it should be Blackout. The conflict of his own morals vs the ruthless and vicious killer would be a great plot.l
