Ghost Rider

Nah sorry. I am not saying the acting was entirely horrible but there was plenty of cringeworthy scenes. Bentley being the main one. Cage had a few and so did Fonda. Mendes actually did the best acting IMO along with Elliot coming in at a close second.

Bentley was pretty bad, but his character was so unbelievbley horrid, that he didn't have much to work with

Yeah and I had really high hopes for Bentley I loved him in American Beauty. But yeah his character was really cliche and unthreatening.

GR was a great popcorn movie, with some good action and PLENTY of grand effects. I only wish there could've been more of The Rider...

Are we talking about the same movie?

Reno 911 looks to be a far superior flick to GR, I'm sure Astraunat Farmer will be, and I garuntee Number 23 will be

but the box office doesn't always reflect on quality

I do believe most of the time it does, but not always, this being one of the times it doesn't

Im going to see Number 23 this weekend.

This movie just plain sucked...The look of Ghost Rider was great, but the dialogue is terrible and so is alot of the acting and th film was very sluggish...bottom line....MSJ can't write....MSJ I hope your reading this, for what you make...your writing sucks. You and Uwe Bowl should get together.
Ouch. The movie wasn'that bad:wow:

...BTW, the best scene IMO is the Caretaker and Johnny (both as GRs) riding in the desert part. To me, that sequence would've been great on its own, but when they added "Ghost Riders in the Sky" to it...:wow: :wow:

Yeah that scene got to me too.
Loved it.
But I still had more scenes that I liked.

This movie was good fun. Like it and worth the money to get in to watch it. Didn't like some shots used in the film, but everything was good from what I saw. Didn't notice any bad acting like some of you did, but I will say...none of the actors who played bad guys deserved their roles. Stephen Dorff should have been one of the demons (the main one) and John Glover should have played the devil.

8/10

:csad::cmad: why wasn't the new S3 trailer in fornt of the film?!

^ because they are still trying to wash the stink of S2 off before they let this one out

It was with seom showings.

Describe the trailer to me.

Ghost Rider himself should have been a little bit more real. He didn't look bad, but...should have looked more real.

Is Blaze a outlaw now? Do peeps besides Rox know he's GR?

There wasn't a new trailer with any of the showings. It was the one from a few months ago.

S2 was awasome...so shut up:csad: :yay:

you can never make me think that spider-man 2 was anything other than a disapointment. A big steaming reaking disapointment with a stink only matched by daredevil, elektra, hulk and Will Farrell

Someone finally agrees with me on Spiderman. The problem with me is why did they not go in the single villain movie order. I'm an oldy spidy villain fan. The Sinister Six or The Lizard. Venom is too soon for Spiderman 3. I think it will make less then Spiderman 2. For some movies fallow a box office down or up depending on the second movie in the saga or trilogy.
My guess is Pirates and Shrek will go up and Spiderman 3 will go down slightly. FF2 will depend on the longivity of this franchise.

I liked both Spiderman films alot but Spiderman was better imo than the secont.

All I can say is that Ghost Rider was pretty bad ass character wise...but this movie still blowed plot wise.

/\ Depends on who you ask. Some love it, others hate it, most here are in the middle/good-average.

SM2 was more indepth and interesting than SM1. Plus Ock didn't have a stupid looking Power Rangers outfit.

To be honest i have never really been that thrilled with Spiderman. As far as the movies go. Didn't care for the casting except for J.J.Jameson. I think Jake Gyllanhal would have been my ideal Peter Parker. Mary Jane i can think many more interesting or better prospects. I kinda hope a new guy takes it over for i'd like to see older villians. I suppose Spiderman ha shad the one villain thing but in Spiderman 3 he has several. I do realize Sand Man is an oldie. But weres Kraven The Hunter, The Lizard, Vulture, Mysterio, even Wilson Fisk. Green Goblin start out fine, Dr Ock even better but The Lizard or someone else should be next then Sinister six then Venom.

I guess i was spoiled with the Spiderman cartoon villain order. The one with Laura Ziskin the voice of M.J.

Weekend Warrior:

Ghost Rider $20.5
The Number 23 $16.9
Bridge to Terabitha $13.3
Reno 911!: Miami $11.6
Norbit $8.9

...so, I'm finally seeing the film in about 20 minutes....
Wish me luck, guys.
I'm trying so hard to lower my expectations, but my expectations refuse to lower. :csad:
