awful awful film. If youre really curious- I'd just rent it or download a cam torrent- its really not worth the price of a cinema ticket.

rent "The Machinist" instead....

I haven't seen Ghost Rider yet. Is it a good movie? I've heard such mixed reviews.

Ive never read the comic- but do like the better comic book movies in general (batman spiderman crow etc)

i just saw GR.. its not as bad as y'all making it out to be.. superman returns was worse..heck x3 was worse.... GR is a pretty entertaining movie... CGI was awesome.. story was lacking a little ..butit gives you a point and you can stil follow it...its a decent flick...

The only movie less enjoyable would be Elektra. But even that movie had tougher villains. The only good things are the special effects of Ghost Rider and the first 13-14 minutes with young Johnny Blaze.

you know i realy enjoyed that part too nate..... why didnt they use that cat throughout the whole movie??

I'm sorry, but this movie was not entertaining at all. Everything was just mediocre or bad. The effects were nice, but the action scenes were very underwhelming. I just couldn't get into it and I just wanted to go home.

UGH superman returns was boring .... there was less action than in GR.... and brandon whats his face was more cardboard than hayden christensen in star wars... superman returns is only good for a coaster to set my glass upon

True, SR didn't have any Superhero on Supervillain action, but other things like him rescuing the plane or Metropolis were a lot more amazing than anything Ghost Rider did.

yeah ..i cant argue that... supes powers are just amazing... but its supes.... the first trilogy of supes were waaay better than SR.. and thats a shame.... i DO like the DIRECT conflict and "TEST YOUR MIGHT" scenes..thats how i like my comics movies.. and SR was like some HIGH BUDGET INDIE FLICK that i just didnt understand

Well that's more Singer's directon than Routh in my opinion. But I wish he had more lines.

With the Superman Returns business, to be a fair/unbiased movie critic, you must judge what is there.

Superman Returns definitely didn't have as much action (Yes, I wished it had more), but the story was about Superman's return to the world and how he had to adjust to it. You have to judge the movie on that premise. You can't say "SR was so boring because it had no action. It sucked and is the worst comic book movie." (It was a bit long, but) It wasn't "boring" because we didn't see the action that we wanted. That's nothing more than a fanboy complaint.
