Ghostbusters 3

We waited 19 years for Indiana Jones IV. That didn't turn out so great. But yeah I would go see it.

That's because George Lucas doesnt know when to hand off the reigns to someone else.

There was still Speilberg, Ford and Koepp plus the elements from a half dozen scripts. But I'm not against a sequel but I just won't get so excited like I was for a fourth Indy.

Man i would love if gb3 is finally moving as for the office guys doing the script if they can do a kick butt script i would be very happy. Now a old crew retiring/ and a new crew coming in story i still think would be the best way to go so we can get the originals all back for vary lengths and a new crew and all that. Crossing my fingers things will really happen.

In my opinion, when a movie is just about as perfect as it can be, there should be a law against remaking it.

Yea all the rumors earlier this year and this new story has all pointed at the old crew is back and either its all about the old crew or the rumors of the old crew passing the torch to younger guys. We will have to wait and see how things plan out with this and if gb3 will actually see the light of day besides right now only the upcoming game is officially gb 3.

I'm just sayin....

We know it's going to happen and it will not be as good as the original, I just don't want it to happen.

It might be better than ghostbusters 2 and for that i think it's worth it.
Also i would like to see a return of the ghosbusters franchise.

I liked Ghostbusters 2...

I would love that. New comic, a video game, the cartoon on dvd.... I hope we get a new cartoon to go with the sequel.

I'll always have a particular fondness for GB 2, due to being sooooo hyped to see it as a kid. Though, I have to admit that I was a bit disappointed upon walking out of the theater after seeing it. That I remember well. But the film does have it's moments.

Maybe its the new crew getting the old crew back for help.

The only reason why the original cast should be in the third movie is to laugh at the 'young-ins' on the mistakes they make and when they get their butts kicked by ghosts.

I don't want another Indiana fiasco.

Yea i could see it like this the film opens with the old crew busting a big bad ghost and get hurt in the process so they all finally agree to retire and like a new younger group take over. So they hire a new crew and the new crew does well for awhile but then a big bad ghostie/monster comes and takes out the new crew(not literally) and then the old guys come back and team with the new guys to take out this big threat. I do hope if there is any new crew along with the old crew for dana's son oscer to be a new buster. He would now be in early 20s and would be cool to see.

Cool idea about Dana`s son being a ghostbuster

Yea it would be a great idea if they do that so we can see what has happened with dana/ murray's character over the yrs. We dont have to see weveaer if this film happens she likely not to return and they could say she moved away from ny to get away from all the ghost problems the city has. But oscer decide to follow in murray's steps and wants/is a buster. I think it would be cool for him to be a new buster.

is their any weight to the rumor that Seth ****ing Rogen is going to be one of the new ghostbusters?

No. At least I don't think so. There was a rumor last year or so that said Paul Rudd, Seth Rogen, and Steve Carrel were going to be the new Ghostbusters and Apatow was writing the script. It turned out to be just a rumor when they asked Seth Rogan about it and he said it would be "Awesome" but nobody ever actually told him about the project.

Yea from seth as above poster said confirmed he wasnt apart of any gb film.

That means not as of yet. I mean look its being writing by people in the office. steve carell is in the office and Carrell knows Seth gfrom 40 year old virgin which was directed by Judd.

I was actually thinking the same thing about oscar after I rewatched GB2 recently.

Lets see...he was a couple months old in 2, which was '89, so depending when the movie comes out he should be about 19-21. So, who should play him but...
