I was surprised with how well they recreated Britney's videos. Those were extremely well done. The first song, "Slave 4 You" was the best and Britany was very impressive. Never noticed her till this episode.

Funny how that works. I think people treated her as just a comic relief character or something. She's really the best dancer of the bunch imo

I think this might be my favorite Montieth yet. Then again, in my mind, it's only real competition are "Hello, I Love You" and "I'll Stand by You", but still...

Yeah. I always thought she was the best dancer. When they did big dance numbers like the ones in the "Bad Reputation" episode (Vanilla Ice and MC Hammer) I always kept an eye on her or Mike Chang as they would rip the floor up.

But this really showcased her--and looking amazing while wearing a python and not much else doesn't hurt either.

But glad to see her get some popularity for that. I actually preferred her number with Santana. Not necessarily sexy, just really, really creative dancing from both of them.

They're not actual remakes--not those two anyways (Baby, One More Time was). They use the same costumes and similar sets but the choreography, editing, direction, etc. was different and I have to say director Ryan Murphy and star Heather Morris upstaged the originals.

I think a big problem for Lea Michelle was BOMT was a shot-for-shot remake of the original video and it felt very forced.

Anyway, I"m excited for next week. Murphy is out saying that he and Fox thinks it is the best episode they have done and it will kick start the real plot threads for season 2. I'm hopeful that it means we're returning to the Fall 13 from last season's quality. I enjoyed these last two episodes, particularly the season premiere, but it still feels like the back 9 from the spring.

I'm also glad to see the music not being contemporary top 40 for the most part next week. Billy Joel, Simon and Garfunkel, generic '90s angst (sorry fans of that song! ), etc.

Should be entertaining, at least.

yeah I didnt notice her till now. I didnt even know her name before. I cant think of anything from season 1 which stands out as a berakout moment from her
