OK I'm watching the episode again and when Kurt first mentions Britney Spears everyone looks excited except for Finn and Puck. I don't think they cared whether they did Britney or not.

They even made note of Puck's completely disinterest with his "Wait, why's everyone hallucinating Britney Spears?" line. Completely oblivious to what's going on around him. t:

Yeah I was worried she would suffer from to much exposure like Sylar did on Heroes. She is better off as a background character. Btw did anyone notice Finn in the background during Me Against the Music, the look on his face was hilarious!

A debate doesn't have to be a fight. No one is breaking the rules. They are asking you civil questions. I think you should answer, that's all.

If I do answer, it will be very passionate answers and it can often turn heated, which can develop a fight. It's why I don't try to debate as much as others do on this forum and why I stay out of the politics sub-forum all together.

THis is the last thing that I will say on it Bill, as you seem to be missing the very point I am making as a board moderator. We are on the same page. My point is to demonstrate how these things are taken out of context and snowball and if you're not prepared to defend it you probably should say it at all. That's all.

But did guys ever see her as anything other than a sex icon? Artie's enthusiasm, Finn's, Puck's, Asian Guy's, etc all felt untrue. Were guys ever really into her music?

Other than Artie, I don't any of the other guys were that much into Spears. It was mainly the women and Kurt.

Don't tell me you can't see that you can't put the worms back in the can merely b/c you don't think you can discuss a topic you brought up without getting yourself banned. Surely you see how someone could take offense to what you said and your lack of backing it up with any real evidence?

I didn't catch that. But they didn't seem too excited about her in the first place. Puck didn't even know how people were hallucinating the Spears dance numbers. To me, the guys seemed indifferent (except Kurt and Artie). They weren't as against it like the Lady Gaga episode though.
