You mean, they sound like a legit show choir?

:p

Hahaha. Oh you!

The thing is we don't know anything about Santana, she could really use an episode where she is central and we get a look into her home life and maybe get a handle on why she is the way she is.

I think she's just insecure. She got her boob job because she wanted boys to notice her. I think she realizes that guys see her as a "wham bam, thank you mam" type instead of someone to actually care about. I think this also explains why she's focused so much on ruining Rachel. Rachel's not conventionally attractive (and certainly not in Santana's eyes) and many characters have said time and time again that she has a ****ty fashion sense, but many of the guys have fallen for her over the course of the series (Finn, Puck, Jesse St. James), while looking at Santana as just a glorified one night stand. It's sort of like the Karofsky-Kurt thing. Karofsky sees a kid who's honest and confortable with himself, and resents him for it, while Santana sees a girl who doesn't feel the need to put a great deal of effort into her looks or change her body for the sake of getting guys to notice her, and similarly resents Rachel for that.

But, what do I know? I'm no psychologist.

You're also unabashedly in love with the character. :woot:

I bet Santana's mom is a MILF

Possibly.

I don't know that they'll ever get into it, but I know her character comes off as something similar to what the spoiled rotten, fed by a golden spoon girls did in my high school many a moons ago.

Not a ***** because she's had a tough life - simply a ***** because she can be and no one's ever stopped her.

So, that makes it a conflict of interest? I see.... :csad:

Never! Just saying... :woot:

Also possible.

I know that lately in media writers want to give all 'bad' or '*****y' character some sort of complex, or difficult, sympathetic back story...

But even the real world you occasionally run across people that are absolutely awful human beings for no real reason.

they wanted a J.Lo cameo, there's the perfect chance. if santana had an older sister, i would cast rosario dawson lol

i think she's too young to play the mom role, otherwise dawson and santana would be great

yeah but i dont think she would have no reason. i remember her saying during the first sectionals (i could be wrong, but season 1 for sure) that glee was the highlight of her day or something

Yeah, I could definitely see Jennifer Lopez as Santana's mom.

You occasionally get little bits with her that suggest that sort of thing. I mean, we're talking about someone who, despite being "popular", has (and only seems to want) one real friend. And she loves performing with Glee, even if she often seems intensely irritated with almost everyone in it.

Though I'd also say that both she and Quinn are heavily influenced by their Dear Leader, Sue, who clearly encourages their worst instincts. Santana is the most like Sue of any of the Cheerios, personality-wise (the spiel in Duets about getting the manager fired, for instance, could easily have been given to Sue).

"The man in this video looks like champion cheerleading coach Sue Sylvester."
"That was particularly hurtful."

I dont care what people say about the back nine last season, the whole thing with the Physical video was great IMO.

The cast (minus Chris Colfer, who was busy filming Dalton scenes; sucka) perform "Don't Stop Believin' 2.0" on X-Factor today. It's the complete Regionals track (on the show, they didn't do the whole song), with Jenna (and, briefly, Dianna) doing Chris' part.

Amusingly, they've got Chord Overstreet there, even though S2 hasn't started in Britain, so I'm guessing quite a good chunk of the audience would have no idea who he is.

Great performance. Though it must suck to be stuck in character so much. Noticed Naya/Heather holding hands at the end of the performance, they are basically the nice versions of their characters outside of the show!

Yeah. Naya has been on record saying the day that they met because of the show it was like she had found her soul mate.

Anytime they perform live I always wonder if Harry and Heathers mics are muted? ;):p

Ya it was funny how they were the only two who didnt have any solo during the song.

It might have also been for spoiler purposes though? I mean the UK hasn't had season 2 yet. They probably only had Chord there because they need someone to make up for Chris's absence.

Heather sang fine on the show; it's not a great voice, but enough to do choral singing.

I liked Amber Riley getting up in Simon's face, since she was rejected from American Idol.

Harry and Heather actually do sing in that. It's them that sings ''Strangers Waiting." before Amber and Kevin take over.
