The only nitpick I had was with a blue dragon breathing a green gas when their breath weapon is lightning, which you had as well.
Other than that I loved it, and I am enjoying your character thus far. Looking forward to learning more about him and seeing the reasons behind his hatret of dragons fleshed out.

There was mottled green on the spines and wings of the dragon .

It's supposed to be a dual one, which takes him by surprise a little.

sorry if it's off, I thought we were going off of DnD, and there are rules for twin coloured dragons, as I got defeated by one years ago when I played, was an internet expansion of the dragons den box-set.....

...That line is cornier than the Nebraska mascot... and sadly I ALMOST did use it. But instead just cuddled and watched tv... she has to work really early so I left for her to get some sleep.
