Mother****ing Wizards! Greedy bastards! I wanted to be able to teach my kids the game, and they're going to ****ing put out a new edition after seven ****ing years! It's bad enough they ****ing cancelled Dragon and Dungeon, but this is ****ing ridiculous!

Meh, just don't bother with it. Teach your kids 3rd edition, or 3.5, or even 2nd. I never upgraded to 3.5 when they pulled that switch and I never thought twice.

It's because they're "upgrading" to a new addition. As such, if you want to play in 4th edition you'll have to buy all new books to do so (more than likely at $30 a pop), which makes the old ones you paid a good chunk of change for (just after the turn of the century) obsolete.

Course, I'll stick with my 3rd and 2nd edition and not give those greedy ****s any of my money. Not to mention I hardly game now adays anyway.

Fans? ****, this game is my HERITAGE. I've been playing since age 5, and I've seen the upheaval of a game system that went basically unchanged since the seventies when Wizards of the Coast took over and decided that the old ways weren't good enough. I shudder in fear of what 4e will be.

Basicaly a small legion of various people/things banded together, having been cursed by a demon to gain massive power, they have formed a 'legion of evil' which will stop at pretty much nothing to conquer, destroy and wreck havok.

This would require characters from all walks of life to band together to stop them.

We're too short on villains to do something like that. Though the idea does have merrit.
