I really can't wait to see this movie. As the youngest of four children in my family (and being the only girl), I sat through MANY Godzilla movies in my lifetime. I know so much more about Godzilla than your average girl, methinks. All my brothers' fault.

Seeing the trailers for this new movie is making me feel nostalgic. I already have plans to see it with my brothers. The movie looks fantastic.

I also saw Gareth Edwards' Monsters for the first time a few weeks ago. Overall, I feel that the movie dragged in many places, but I was very impressed with what this guy did with such a small budget, as the film was very atmospheric, moody, and creepy. [BLACKOUT]And the aftermath of the monster attack on that island is a noteworthy scene, as I actually did feel my heart sink when the little girl's body was revealed. SO well-done.[/BLACKOUT] I think Edwards is an excellent choice for this Godzilla movie.
