They pretty much establish that Kong is the hero and someone is messing with Godzilla’s head here. Well......screw that. Still rooting for Godzilla.

I like how they showed MechaGodzilla, but in a blink-and-you'll-miss-it way.

The movie looks good, not great imo. But man, the level of exposition is something else ("It's Godzilla"). Looks like a good action flick but I will wait until the next trailer before judging it.

I know it's already been mentioned in the thread, but not a fan of how much they downscaled Zilla to Kong's size. :o He was much bigger in KOTM.

I really wish they would have kept using the Godzilla theme more when he was wrecking all the ships, because that was EPIC and way more effective IMO.

It's hard to believe I can still get chills from that piece of music from Godzilla 2014, but it was utilized well in that whole build up to the clash and I just wish it had been used a bit more.

Eh trending doesn't mean much. A lot of movies and shows trend high and still aren't successes. Although in terms of finances I'm still not sure what a success is with this

Trending #1 .. I can see why WB wanting to move up the release date.

Yeah but what's different about this situation is that Godzilla vs. Kong is the only blockbuster on the block right now. Everything else has been getting pushed back so it's naturally getting all the attention. Who knows, maybe more people might end up seeing the film this way than they would had it been released normally without a pandemic.

Oh yeah especially with the streaming I can see more people watching than in theaters.
