Godzilla vs Kong (2021)

Batman vs Superman
Batman (would have) won if not for Clark shouting out Martha.

Freddy vs Jason
Freddy (would have) won if not for human interference

Alien vs Predator
Aliens (would have) won if not for human interference

Godzilla vs Kong
Based on who had the upper hand in the above verses film, Godzilla should be the victor.

Trailer was awesome. I'm really excited about this. Also I'm happy that Kyle Chandler is in this movie too. He was Bruce Baxter in King Kong (2005).

Oh shoot, you are right! Never crossed my mind.

Question, do y’all want another trailer after this or think this should be it? Personally this is all i want. Im sold.

Regarding Godzilla's heel turn:

If that's actually Mecha Godzilla in a skin suit the reveal will be absolutely bananas (no pun intended).

could also explain why Godzilla appears smaller. I know Kong has grow considerably but the scaling still seems off for big G.

I'm good on anymore trailers honestly, especially after pretty much everything was given away in those KOTM trailers. This one gave me everything I needed and wanted to see and that's more than enough, but I wouldn't be suprised if they did release another one at the beginning of March.

I'll try my damn hardest to resist watching it though.

I hope they brought Joe Morton back to reprise his role as the older version of Corey Hawkins's character from Skull Island just so there's some more connective tissue with the human characters from that movie. When I saw his cameo in KOTM I didn't know he was supposed to be the same character until I looked it up. For what it's worth, Skull Island had the best human characters in the Monsterverse by far. I'd also welcome octogenarian versions of Tom Hiddleston and Brie Larson's characters just for kicks.

I refuse to watch this at home on my small ass screen. I'm going to have to buy bigger TV or brave the theater I don't know.

Given the current situation, it's gonna be HBO Max for me. Wife and I just can't justify possibly passing it to the baby and all.

Sigourney Weaver and Jeremy Irons for older versions of Brie Larson’s and Tom Hiddleston’s characters. I could totally buy them as the aged versions of those people.

Hmmm, you guys thinking that there might also be conflict of interests between Rebecca Hall and Skarsgard's characters against Kyle Chandler and Millie Bobby Brown's? I'm thinking the former will be on the "Godzilla betrayed humanity and we don't care for the reason why, we just want him destroyed and Kong's the only one who can stop him" while the latter try to discover what's happening by proving his innocence?

There are grounds for some interesting dilemmas in this movie.

I'm just bugged that the delay caused us to not be able to see it in theaters really.

Not the greatest song choice, but it gave me what I needed. Kong Kong and Godzilla battling with Kong giving Godzilla a ****ing right hook to the FACE. That axe shot. All I needed. As a Kong fa, this trailer made me very pleased! :funny:

I'm not expecting Macbeth, just give me a great fighting monster movie! I'm seeing this in theaters.
