My plans for tonight were to grab some beers, play video games and watch Machete and Zombieland with some friends. Sounds good right? Just a guys night in. Well after Machete and some gaming, both friends decided they wanted to hit the town. I told them ''No...What's out there? You want to watch people dance? You want to pay money for club and drink? You want to listen to terrible dance music along with all that? You want to go out into the cold?'' Drink, films, games are all here...I didn't get it. They both went home, so my flat mate and I watched Zombieland and ordered pizza:awesome:

I go out everyone once in a while, but I honestly don't get the appeal of it. You can't hear anyone talk, everything is over priced, some people can't handle their drink and get very annoying, music is ****, bathroom floor has piss all over it...I could keep going...I prefer to stay in, watch flicks, drink beer thats not over priced, play games and have a chat with friends.

My question to you sweet posters is, do you prefer to stay in or go out? Or do you like to dabble in both? And give a reason for your answer.

It depends on my mood but I don't go to clubs since I can't dance well and the majority of girls there are snobs who only want you to buy them drinks and nothing more. Now of course you don't deserve sex from buying a girl a drink or two but these girls are the type that will play you like a fool if you let them. **** clubs basically, it's fake it's lame.

Only times I really want to get out for the night is when I've been in the house too many nights and I start to get stir crazy. Then I just go to a bar and relax and have a few cold ones around other members of society. Sometimes you meet some new and cool people and other times you meet some losers.

It's perfectly fine to stay home, saves you money and with all the **** most people buy(myself included), you should have plenty to keep yourself entertained at home as you already know Lunar.

When I do go out, I do like to do that. Just chill somewhere quiet, no crazy noise.

Just got home from the movies. Saw "Due Date" and it was pretty good, but a little painful at times. I'm glad to be home.

I don't mind too much noise like some bar music and people chatting it up all around me but when it's club like noise, to hell with that.

I also have a friend or two that gets all snooty when you want to stay in for the night. They kind of pulled the same move like your friends a few times. They want to hang out at your place or theirs, then all of a sudden they want to go out and then leave. I don't call those few friends anymore unless I know I want to go out...they can be kind of *****es at times anyways.

I think it's a bit a of both for me, if I've beaten just about all of my videogames and don't have any desire to watch any movies, then I'll go out with my friends and catch a few drinks. If I have something to do at home or if my girlfriend just wants to hang around the house, I won't go anywhere.

Staying in,as usual. There is not enough freedom when it comes to going out and there is certainly not enough eye or mind candy.

What do you mean by not enough freedom?

What I mean is that I think that I can't do stuff that I like when I go out,I mean I could but I don't think that it would have the right impact, there is just something that is off about the atmosphere for the most part. Or somethings.

I only like to go out when I have money. So I stay home. A lot.

I do a bit of both, but I don't go to clubs. I go to bars. There is quite a bit of difference.

I still go out, but it had more appeal when I was single. I used to go out two or three times a week when I first moved into the city, then came the missus, then came the nights in with a bottle of wine and nice food, rather than kebabs and losing my shoes, pants, phone, wallet, etc...

Once I woke up with a traffic cone in my apartment. On facebook, I had a picture of me going in a bar sober and then the final picture was me outside the bar with this cone on my head. When I'm drunk, I find things. Sometimes I keep them. Once it was a broken tennis racket I ripped my friend's shirt with. Once it was a Polish girl called Brigida. I only kept her till the next morning. I didn't throw out the tennis racket until the following week.

Priorities.

Living in the arse end of nowhere is really a deciding factor for me. Hell, it's the main factor. If I want to go out I have to drive or take a bus or whatever. If I go out in this town then it's just a bunch of stupid kids wandering the streets drunk and half naked and really, I don't care for that.

I like staying in more. I can sit in my bed watching dvds or playing Xbox and no one will judge me for being in bed at 7pm. Then again I do tend to go out during my days off, usually to the cinema or pub. Cinema is cheeper during the day and the pub is empty so there's a Much better chance of getting on the pool table...

Thinking about it it also comes down to my friends. I live in the arse end of nowhere but they live up the arse of nowhere or have kids. If we're to go out we have to organize lifts and everything and it's not worth it for a few pubs and clubs that, lets face it, we'd all feel out of place at. Yeh, I blame my friends

I go out only to buy more stuff to do at home

I do a bit of both as well.
I like going to lounges or hanging out at home and getting wasted with friends
I only go to clubs if my girlfriend wants to :O

Thanks for making a thread exactly like the one I made almost a year ago, Lunar: http://forums.superherohype.com/showthread.php?t=333097
I only want to model myself after the best:O

Wish bars here had theme:csad:

Because of what I do, I've turned into more of a homebody. It's bliss..!

I don't get a chance to get out much due to the fact that I live in a dirthole town, but I do get out every chance I get. I'm not really a clubs or pubs person, I'm a shopper. I prefer shopping in person to shopping online; it's much more fun. I go to the movies once in a while if the movie has enough of my attention, but for me, it's too expensive to go all of the time. Especially since I have a nice big HDTV at home with a speaker system and IMO that works as well for me as a theater. The only difference for me is that I have to wait longer to see movies that way.

At home I can read books, play a ton of games on any one of the numerous systems I have, research film among other hobbies, etc. I really do do more interesting things at home than I do when I go out, so I do lean a bit toward staying home.

Stay in watch a movie, nice glass of wine.....but, um, no.....kind of outgrown drink games...

I love going out to the bars or a themed party. It seems like that's the only time I really get to hang out with my buddies. The only downside is spending all sorts of money. I know that when I go out, to take about 200 bucks. After several drinks I get generous and start buying rounds for people.:hrt:

I always feel like my weekend is wasted if I don't go out at least one of the nights. I can't party two nights in a row like when I was younger.:csad:

I have an LCD projector screen the size of my wall (great for football and movies), so good wine, football, good movie and friends is the way I love to spend my weekends...
