Black or white, it is slightly ridiculous to not thank the director of the film you're winning for, especially when they are the ones that originated the project and brought you on board.

He did though. When they went backstage to get interviewed from the reporters. It wasn't telecast though. And actually it was Coogler who went up to Sly to do this and initially he did want to go down this path with a spin off but then he saw Fruitvale Station and thought we could do something with this director.
