Warning: Odds are this is a load of CRAP.

So I was going thru Avengers #502, taking a gander at the Skrull panels and came up with a few thoughts.

Refresher: I have re posted the panels as a visual aid.

Here we see Reed running from the crashing Kree ship that Hawkeye just blew up, this is in roughly the same area as the Skrull was, not the exact same but in the general area. However that is not what got me thinking, take at look at his arms, the crazy waviness(spelling sux) to them reminds of this(see below).

Item 1-B

Like I said load of crap but maybe just maybe there's something.

Item 2-A

Ok, here we see Cap, Clint, and a bunch of "Kree Soliders", oh and Skrully, but there is no one else. Now look a few panels down.

Item 2-B

There's Black Widow right behind Cap, Hmmmmmmmmmm?

Item 3-A

For those of you reading Moon Knight, we know this happened.

And Marc has been this way for 2 years, so I ask you, who the hell is that(see below)?

Conclusion: Just a few random thoughts for the day, more the likely my boredom is feeding my mind a bit much, but still something to think about.

I'm not sure what conclusion you're trying to reach, but for what it's worth, Bendis did say that he and Finch put the Skrull(s) in Avengers Dissassembled on purpose.

Eh, just trying to figure out who those skrulls maybe, I'd heard there were there on purpose, just a collection of random thoughts, you know how it goes.

That Moon Knight would actually totally make sense. They even have different Moon Knight Costumes. But since it makes sense it will not happen.

Except that Disassembled happened in 2004 and the new Moon Knight comic debuted in 2006, so even if it's not Marvel time, it makes sense in that perspective.

I'm not sure Bendis or Marvel are that clever - regardless of what Bendis says about planting seeds in previous avengers stories. Apart from the Skrull in panel, I wouldn't read too much into the rest and put it down to artistic incompetence.

Man, Hawkeye's costume was so terrible back then. But, on the other hand, he's at least wearing a Hawkeye costume.

Yes, and I have a feeling that we'll see Hawkeye go back to being Hawkeye now that Bobbi is back. Maybe he'll strip the costume off that dead Skrull.

I know it was completely telegraphed for just this reaction, but I have to admit, the moment I saw Clint grab the bow and arrows from his Skrull impersonator, I was like, "HELL yeah!" Oh, Bendis, how you toy with my feelings so!

Maybe baldie is going to repay us all for the WORST DEATH IN COMIC HISTORY.

Seeing that panel of Clint's quiver getting hit again made me chuckle. The thing he's wearing on his back is on fire, so instead of ditching it like a normal person, he commits suicide. I think Bendis might've made Clint emo.
