Sean Bean. Keep his streak going of getting killed in a medieval environment.
They can't cast Randor and Duncan too young. Remember, they were adults already before Adam and Teela were born.
Any suggestion for who to play Man-At-Arms?
Pink Ranger: Sean Bean dying again. Haha, that's a good one :P
Holy cow, I never thought of that myself but it's brilliant. It's obvious who should be King Randor? The Beastmaster himself, Marc Singer.
Would you guys want to see the Skeletor = Keldor = Randor's brother/ Adam's Uncle angle on film?

I think both backstories can be combined as one.
The prologue of the movie can begin with brave Captain Randor defeating the remnants of Keldor's forces. As the hideously scarred Keldor runs from the field of battle, Randor looks up, and sees a strange "metal bird" cut a smoking trail across the sky, and land in the old forest some distance away.
Randor and his trusty young friend Duncan rush to the scene of the crash, and rescue the beautiful young woman who is the only apparent survivor of the flight. And so the saga begins ...
Julianna Marguiles comes to mind. She has a beautiful and unique face, so the audience doesn't need an explanation as to why Randor falls in love at first sight. But she has a look that can be interpreted as both young and old, so she can go from being a younger astronaut to being the mother of a 16-year-old boy without stretching credulity.

Does it mean that Gary Cole will take on Duncan?
A suggestion for Prince Adam then????
William Mosely and Rhys Wakefield have a youthful look but they might be too old for the role, sorry to say. That is, if they don't age him up, like the Chris O'Donnell Robin.

Haven't seen Liam Hemsworth in anything so not sure he has the ability. Miley Cyrus as Teela offends me in ways I can't begin to explain.I wouldn't mind aging Adam up a bit, to maybe 18 or 20. How about Liam Hemsworth? Then CGI on the muscle mass for when he becomes He-Man. Kinda the reverse of what they did to Chris Evans in Captain America.
Only problem is he might insist on them casting Miley Cyrus as Teela.
I can dig that. How about Liam Neeson as Duncan/Man-At-Arms? Good actor. Studied swordplay for his roles in Star Wars and Rob Roy. And he's often cast as "the wise old mentor" in films (Batman Begins, Star Wars, Chronicles Of Narnia), which is what Duncan is to Prince Adam.
Gosh, you'd think none of us had ever heard of the guy.How about Liam Neeson as Duncan/Man-At-Arms? Good actor. Studied swordplay for his roles in Star Wars and Rob Roy. To make a comeback, you have to have actually done something significant in the first place.
