Here is a great review of the 1987 movie

The Masters of the Universe should be a trilogy. One film isn't enough. There are too many characters and almost everyone should be seen in one way or another.
Skeletor should team up with King Hiss in the sequel and in the third, She'Ra should enter the scene (and we'll get to see Hordak, the most powerful warlord among the three, the one who learned Skeletor everything).
Meh. Skeletor would never team up with King Hsss and vice versa.
To me that's an element you wouldn't keep from the mini-comics which weren't the be-all end all. Such as, Scare Glow warning that "Skull-face" that he should speak before he would "scare you to death!" The Snake-Men were basically racists and xenophobic and wouldn't work with the Evil Warriors. But that's what they did in King Hiss's original appearance. In the mini-comics it wasn't an odd thing to happen.

Yeah, let's worry about making just the one awesome He-Man movie. Once that's done we can start thinking about franchise possibilities.
And I don't think a trilogy of films is the way to go. Trilogies are falling out of favor; studios would much rather have a franchise like the X-Men movies or Fast & Furious where they can keep adding bigger and bigger sequels each time. Look at how WB was scrambling to figure out what to do with Batman once Nolan completed his trilogy.
But Skeletor brings Snake Men back from limbo. He really does it and it's because he thinks he would have a better chance of taking over Castle Greyskull. Unfortunately for him, King Hiss has another agenda.Meh. Skeletor would never team up with King Hsss and vice versa.
Pretty much what I expect the sequel to be.That's something that I think the 2002 series did very well, and should be emulated in the movie. Personally, I think that Skeletor should offer to join forces with King Hiss and the Snake Men. King Hiss's responds by attacking Skeletor and his Evil Warriors, soundly thrashing them. Then King Hiss and his army of Snake Men march on the Royal Palace, and soundly defeat He-Man and the Masters. Even Zodak can't stop them. So He-Man and Skeletor, reluctantly, agree to have the Masters and the Evil Warriors join forces to defeat King Hiss and his minions.
That, I think, would make for an awesome sequel.

But shouldn't Zodak be the one who takes down Hiss? Only him then, not all of his snake warriors.
Has anyone read this? I doubt it's He-Man he's playing, but I don't know... http://sciencefiction.com/2015/11/11/bodybuilder-mike-ohearns-instagram-post-mean-playing-man/
Clearly, some sicko has been photoshopping his head onto my body. I'm outraged!![]()
This isn't exactly Shakespeare...
Don't forget that Zodak has a vendetta against Snake Men because they tried to conquer Eternia back in ancient timesI think it should be He-Man who defeats King Hiss, but Zodak should be involved somehow. Like maybe keeping the Snake Men warriors out of the fight so that it stays one on one between He-Man and King Hiss.
