Don't forget that Zodak has a vendetta against Snake Men because they tried to conquer Eternia back in ancient times

That's why he has a significant role to play in the battle. But he-Man is the star and should therefore be the one to defeat King Hiss.

Zodak can plow through a legion of Snakemen stormtroopers and do a showdown with whoever Hiss's lieutenant is, like Rattler, Kobra Khan or Snakeface.

I read that American Gladiators star, bodybuilder, and actor Titan... don't know his real name, got cast in the new Live-action movie

mike o'hearn...wonder what role he might got...he want's to cut down 30 lbs of lean muscle...

i doubt he'll be he-man himself. eventhough i always said he should play the part. just based on the looks of course.
he's not the best actor out there but depending on the director, writing and supporting cast it might work better than expected

The MCU and Transformers started with the intent of starting a franchise from the get-go, which is why both of them had post-credits scenes that lead into more to come.

They intended to start a movie franchise from the start, but didn't know if it would be doable. That's why each movie sets up a sequel, yet works as a stand alone film.

If you go into it intending for the movie to be the first in a trilogy or quintet, and then the movie bombs, you will wind up with a movie that feels very incomplete. Example: The Last Airbender.

What if he's just a body for skeletor and they replace his head with a cg skull and a voice actor?

OR

What if they do something similar to what they did for pre-serum Steve inTFA and put another actors head on his body?

I don't know. I just can't imagine him being more than just a body. :funny:

Add to that Fant4stic and the last 2 Terminator movies.

This isn't exactly Shakespeare...

If most people were throwing a party where they had to entertain a large group of people for 2hrs and one of the requirements was live music. I believe most people regardless of the type of music that had to be played, would get real musicians instead of people who look like can play music. Maybe acting looks easier than it truly is but not everyone could do it. A good example is Rhonda Rousey great fighter, terrible actress though.

And yet Britney Spears has performed in front of sold out audiences. And let's be honest, her career has revolved around what she looks like more than how well she can sing.

Or for an example that is more relevant to the topic at hand, look at Arnold Schwarzenegger's career. He has never been a great actor. Yet he was at one time one of the biggest drawing stars in Hollywood (if not the biggest). You would be hard pressed to find anyone who truly dislikes Conan (1982), Terminator, T2: Judgment Day, Commando, or Predator. At worst they probably consider these movies "guilty pleasures". Personally, I love them and am not the least bit guilty about it.

Condemning a man for not having any real acting experience before you even see his performance is incredibly unfair. If people had not seen Conan The Barbarian back in 1982 because Arnold was "just a bodybuilder and not a real actor" then we never would have had all of those other great Schwarzenegger movies I had listed above.

Point is, give the guy a chance dammit!

I'd disagree Schwarzenegger wasn't a bad actor ever and he had a charisma that was captivating to audiences. Yes Conan was one of his breakout role but nobody gave him a franchise role because he was bodybuilder. Arnold by the time Conan had been released already appeared in nine movies. He dedicated himself to becoming an actor that can carry a movie.

Isn't King Hiss so powerful that it requires both He-Man and Skeletor to take him down?
The two enemies will have to fight side by side. But maybe that isn't enough either, and Zodak needs to enter the battle.

you can make an aprentice actor do better in his job. there are movies where even good actors appear to be terrible. it depends on dedication, scriptwriting director, kamera and cutting. chris pratt for example isn't that great imo. but he works perfectly fine when put into a high budget movie with experienced people. what movie roles did he had before? this mike o'hearn made alot of movies before..you just have to search for them but they are there....rousy as an example is just unfair...because she can't act no matter what. with a bit of talent comes great support...

[YT]/sn8I8yUZXOM[/YT] he looks more like he-man in this than dolph lundgren did. and for those who wonder if he can act...atleast a bit ...go check out mike o'hearn alter ego on youtube and judge for yourself

I want to thank all the supporters for sending good vibes in hopes I get the role of He-Man. I am working hard everyday so when the opportunity presents itself, I'll be ready. It's pretty exciting that Hollywood is talking or has my name on their lips when it comes to this role. The support from the fans is incredibly helpful and really adds confidence to my belief that I'm the right man for it. I've been close to large rolls before like Superman and the follow up to The Scorpion King. Hollywood has talked about me in the past for other superhero roles such as Captain America long before Chris Evans booked it. (He did a great job as Captain America). More than just having the look of he-man, I need to stay in class and keep working with the theatrics. Superstar actor and friend Jonathan Schaech @johnschaech is also going to work with me on making sure that my acting is on point. All I can do is keep working to make sure that I am prepared to book this role and do an amazing job! Thank you again for all of your support. To be clear, I do not have the role yet. The Internet is flattering but you can't believe everything you see on there. Again thank you for all of your support!

Well, if he gets it he gets it. Hemsworth can't play every blonde muscley dude.

I don't think he's got a snowballs in hell chance. While he's built like the toy he can't act for crap and sony and the producers have said multiple times they are looking for actors who can be built not bodybuilders who need to be taught.

But again I'm one of the biggest he-man fans on here and I'll believe this film is happening when I see a trailer

well that's true :-) didn't he turned it down already?
No. When has this ever gotten close to getting made that they would get a star attached?

The American Gladiator Mike O'Hearn has about as much chance of playing He-Man as he has replacing Chris Evans as Captain America.

IMO, I'd like to see Prince Adam as a scrawny teenager then when he transforms into He-Man, a muscle-bound adult... like the cartoon reboot in 2002
