Great scenes in mediocre/poor episodes

this is where Lionel confesses to knowing about Clark's secret since "Arrival" and Clark tells him "secret or not stay away from my mother, or you'll wish I never saved your life." It was a pretty bad ass scene that I'd forgotten about and Welling looked pretty intimidating. Dialogue was great, good tension, etc.

What else do you got?

You aren't the only one who forgot about that line of dialogue since the writers haven't (yet) followed through on that threat. If nothing else, Clark almost accepts Lionel as a father figure. :whatever:

How could I or anyone else forget about this one.

But.. but.. I liked that ^ episode too. :(

I haven't posted anything in this thread because there just arent' that many eps that I think are "bad." Pathetic, ain't it?

The Lex Strut from Subterranean, and the Clark Jump from Lucy are the only ones I can think of, they were both already posted.

I didnt think it was bad either. But the heading does say mediocre, so it did kind of border on mediocre. :yay:

^Great scene...but I loved the episode "Hereafter."

Looking at a thread like this shows the diversity in each opinion of the episodes.

Such as I loved Prodigal and Jinx. Others didn't and many hated Jinx.

Here is the one redeeming factor from "Spell" for me was getting to see the womens in skimpy leather.:woot:

I like this thread. Just shows you that a great scene can elevate a mediocre episode. And sometimes it is easier to remember these standout scenes, rather than remembering the episodes they belonged to. Lol.

I was watching the rerun on ABC Family tonight of "Mercy" from Season 5 and although that was a bit of a turkey of an episode with the whole "Saw" thing going on, there a GREAT scene at the end after Clark saves Lionel and Martha in the falling elevator, where Clark comes to Luthorcorp to confront Lionel about knowing his secret, etc.

I liked 'Mercy' overall. Not one of my favourites, but it wasn't bad either. But this scene was just amazing. Clark was almost unlike himself here. Showed his protectiveness towards Martha and suspicion of Lionel all at once.

The end of Subterranean with Lex walking through the 33.1

Great scene! Really didn't like the ep, but that was one hell of a scene.

Clark and Lana watching Looney Tunes cartoons on the barn wall in Craving.

Aww, I love this scene. I think I even mentioned it in the 'favourite moments' thread here. Clana at it's best.

The end of Facade

Love this scene. Didn't mind the ep so much even, I thought it had some fun Lois&Clark scenes. But this is one of their best. So joyous. The smiles on Lois and Clark's faces, and the flirting. Wonderful.

How could I or anyone else forget about this one.

This just personifies this thread, doesn't it? Lol. Really mediocre ep, but an amazing moment tacked within.

*goes off to think of more*

The Chloe/Lana smackdown in "Delete" comes to mind. ;)

The ending scene of Subterranean needs mentioning a second time - and a third and fourth.

It is my favorite scene in Smallville history. PERFECT Lex.
