Already did a tribute to the D a few pages ago. but Kyle and Jack need more love.

Listen to their first four albums, if you have only heard their most popular stuff you are really missing out.

Agreed. Judas Priest is really the only "New Wave of British Heavy Metal" band that I like. Thier newest album is quite good I think. Rob Halford's back and that makes all the difference.

Angel Of Retribution was very good  It was kind of a mix of alot of their previous albums in one. There is a Little Painkiller, HellBent For Leather, And Defenders Of The Faith at the same time sounding refreshing but that may only be because of Halfords return. I like Tim Owens just not in Judas Priest.

Wel all rock and metal bands have derived in some way from the big three classic bands, who each crafted out their unique and specialized sub-genre's of rock.

LED ZEPPELIN
BLACK SABBATH
DEEP PURPLE

Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band. There isn't any other band that could represent America than this one.

Springsteen made the absolute worst music of his career during the period with that band. Sorry, but it's the truth. His early stuff like the Nebraska album was awesome then he started touring with E-Street and got all popped out and lame.

Agreed. His '80s stuff is especially bad. I kind of like that 9/11-themed album he did though.

oh, he's the best...... I'm being serious, I love his 80s music, before he went all disney

I wouldn't put him anywhere near the league of Led Zeppelin, beatles, stones or deep purple etc.
