If you check out instagram "CWRiverdaleNews"....you can find out that Valerie and Melody have both been cast....and they're both African-American too.

So the entire Josie and her band members are played by African-American actresses.

So they get two hot Asian guys to play Reggie and Dilton.

I believe Ross Butler is mixed even though he looks very Asian.
