Grey's Anatomy- Season 5

double post...my internet is soooo slow...

I thought the Dancing with Wolves chick had decided to leave the hospital.

George has been rendered irrelevant.

I really hate Lexie and Sloane--he needs someone to match him sexually, and keep him in line--Callie is a much better match.

The best characters/story line is by far the Cristina/Owen relationship....sooo hot! Mer and Der are totally boring, so over it without the Addison factor!

Grey's has been suffering from the "too many characters" syndrome for a long time...the first 2-3 seasons were by far the best. Hunt & Yang = best match on the show!

Even season 3 had some questionable moments. Namely Gizzie :(

Maybe, but it was still nice to see him pop up in last night's episode, yelling at Izzie. :)

I only watched Grey's and not Private Practice which I could care less about. Did I miss anything by not watching the second half of the cross over?

:( TWO confirmed characters leaving the show...

George AND Izzie :( :( :(

This sucks. They're my 2 favorite characters.

I can enjoy the show without them.....Im more of a Christina fan anyway

Izzy
I won't mind leaving but
George
I liked.:(

An easy way to write him off would be to

have him transfer to a hospital closer to his family, as his dad is dead and the family needs an anchor

ER had this same issue when Clooney and Marguiles left and they were fine....

Wonder if they'll decide to write the pregnancy into the storylines.

I'm of two minds about that.....it could be done well, or it could really detract from everything else that's going on.....

It was an ok episode but not what I would expect for a 100th episode (I like my 100th episodes to be big and very meaningful, looking back at the show in some way). And while I love Izzy/Alex, it was way to predictable that it would be them two taking over MerDers wedding. It wouldve been more surprising if they had a double wedding.

And to me this pretty much cements Izzy dieing since we know how this show is when it comes to happy couples.

I hate Izzy sooooo much....but as a 27 year old married male....a single tear left my right eye tonight at the end. I'm not ashamed.

i totally cried last night! i love Izzy and really really really really dont want her to die.

yeah i totally called the wedding switch a few weeks ago. but i agree, a double wedding would have been an incredible suprise! but i dont think it would have been as emotional as the one we got. which i LOVED everything about it!

Mer as the best man! christina as the maid of honor. Izzy losing the strength to get to the altar, and George stepping in and helping her. And the little nod he and Alex had. PERFECT! it was totally awesome!

At the risk of spoiling it for those who didn't see last nite...
...WHATTTT....

Ok the Izzy situation, totally predictable, especially considering press buzz around her intended departure. You knew stuff was gonna wrap up, but the George/T.R. Knight situation? It was a mystery how this was gonna play out. The "oh s***" factor was definitely there! And I must say, the last shot of him, VERY handsome. I'm so sad, I couldn't care less about Izzy, but George was always a favorite of mine.

Yang and Hunt are soulmates...he's intense, intelligent, and just the right temperament for her. This couple MAKES the show.

Garbage. Very lazy and dumb way of getting rid of Knight.

^I haven't been following Grey's as much this season but when I heard about the finale I was like :wow:. Will definitely check this out.

After the first hour and half it didn't feel like a season ending show but the last 30 minutes helped a lot. Question. I've followed the show off and on and should know this, but neither the wife or I knew what 007 meant when he wrote it in her hand? help?

OhSnaP. I haven't watched the finale but 007 was George's nickname when they were all starting out because he hesitated during an operation. License to kill, harharhar. :o

Haha yeah. Mer's reaction to his writing 007 on her hand was priceless.

thanks. yeah her reaction sold it, the wife and I were like what the hell? It almost made it better that we didn't know what 007 was.

Thanks once again, now I can seem smart in the next text I send

It's still up in the air whether either actor will return next season. It seemed pretty definitive that Heigl was dead - Knight on the other was very vague.

My guess is they're both gone.
