It just feels like everyone is going to WOW...Guild Wars isn't dying... The nubs are growing up.

What makes you so sure?there will be no more major updates
I can see were he is getting at. Just like when Starcraft 2 comes out the orignal will die out. So then they wouldn't be updating it.What makes you so sure?

Ehem, Anet (Gaile Gray inparticular) announced that GW1 will no long recieve any more major updates as the dev team are working on GW2 and no longer have time with GW1. I can dig up the original post, but it was posted ages ago by Gaile right after they brought out HM for EotN.

ArenaNet have occasionally said things or done things, then changed their minds and done something else entirely. They've also said that another expansion will be unlikely, but not ruled out. The truth of the matter is that the average player just doesn't know where Guild Wars will go. It's for that reason when I read something like, "there will be no more major updates," I think to myself, "No, there will probably not be much more coming, but never say 'never' because it just might happen."![]()
You must admit though, it would be silly for them to focus on major updates and an expansion if they are developing an entire new game that goes into beta later this year.
EotN was designed to wrap up GW1 so they can start GW2. Also on the comment about the bonus mission pack, the bonus was made at the same time as EotN,
, perhaps in the Gaile post sections could cut down on search time, you're going to have to leave it with me for a bit. I'll also post up any other related info concerning the cut in updates.when i finish my game i won't play it again
That's quite a turn around there TLATOANI.I Am Playing And Thinking About Getting Gw2 Once They Realese It

Are you enjoying the game?
That's often the trick with Guild Wars. Much of the "fun factor" is in being with a group of people inside the game who's interests and values are compatible so that the in-game companionship adds to the playing experience. Once you're in a guild that suits you the game can really shine.KINDA but there are only well..few people..
