Guillermo del Toro's The Strain coming to FX - Part 1

^ I do. I'm still sticking with the theory that she's working for someone. Quinlan or maaaaybe also for a bad guy (Eichorst?). She's not in the books unless I've just blacked her out. :funny:

Coco in her panties and that unbuttoned shirt made it worth it for me. I dont think Ive ever seen that actress in anything else but she is a cutie.

I was laughing at how the shirt was not moving at all. :oldrazz: #NotRealisticAtAll

She was in 13 episode of American Horror story but the bulk of her work appears to be in French.

Oh yeah! She was one of the patients in Asylum. Even all crazy looking she was cute.

I don't think there was much trying involved in that. It was obvious Eichorst was annoyed. :D

We are not talking enough about how Eichorst is the official makeup artist of Team Master. :hehe:

Eichorst and makeup. I wonder about him at the camp. Was he already a vamp or just a turned human???

Bolivar I think was a target on the plain. What better future host than a goth rocker.

Who thinks she may be a Quinlan or Ancients agent

I do. There's gotta be a reason she's so damn persistent in wanting to know everything.

As for Zack, I hope this was his wake up call.

Glad to see Fet's head back in the game. Dutch & track star should stay away for the rest of the series.

Yes! Q reaching out to Gus. Let the good times & a lot of vamp heads roll.

He was turned after the concentration camp. :)

Yeah Lizzie Brocheré (Coco) is the hottest girl on the show….

Dug the new title sequence, but why wait near the end of the season to use it instead of at the beginning?

My guess is the episode run time came down short, and the title sequence was used for padding. Next week it could just as well go to the original.

I was questioning that myself. These days titles are getting shorter, not longer. It was cool, though. :)

LOL for a second there, I thought I was crazy to have just noticed the new title sequence. :hehe: It's pretty cool but I'm wondering too why they waited this long to debut it.

Episode 9 "The Battle for Red Hook" I like the new title sequence. Lots of great action in this and the citizens fighting the vampire horde was kind of epic. I also liked the moment when the generators were turned back on and all the Strigoi burn up. Eph and Setrakian versus Eichhorst was pretty cool as well.

The show is entertaining, always has been, but god, the writing is just god awful, if you were to actually talk about legit quality, The Strain would be in the 3 to 4/10 range, it is by no means good, never has been, I kinda defended that in first season by thinking "yeah it's pulpy stuff, it's supposed to be this way" but the dialogue (especially on this last episode) is often cringe worthy, the writing is lazyyyyyyyyyy (it's been said but how many times have we had the bad guys running away?), the acting is passable at best (think of Corey Stoll in HOC, writingggggggg), the budget is not nearly high enough to sell the premise.

And yet, I still keep watching, let's hope they use Quinlan more, he's the one thing that makes it worth watching.

I like that they are transitioning Kelly to be less mindless. I think she will make a fine villian once she starts to step up.

I like how Eichorst is kind of becoming her mentor. :hehe:

Justine is a bad ass. She'll probably die before the season ends though. :(

Eichorst and Kelly is a nice and creepy relationship.

I love that councilwoman. So bad ass with a loyal bad ass police captain at her side. Nice speech to rally the troops and hold off the vamps til Fet did his thing.

I also like how she was very hands-on. She wants in on the action and yet she wasn't doing dumb things to put everyone else in jeopardy.

They're not going to do something like that as padding, I wouldn't think. If anything, I'm sure FX would see that as an opportunity to shove more ads down our throats.

It is weird as hell, though, that it wasn't a beginning of the season thing.

Not trying to go there but........I kind of have to. I haven't read the books but was ole girl a lesbian in them? I mean, it almost seems kind of forced in this show. She was sleeping with dude now she's in love with ole girl again...............I don't know man.

Dutch is not in the books.
