Haven't seen the 2nd season yet but I just knew after reading the books he would be a fan favourite. He is just a great character and was certainly my favourite from the books.

I can tell we'll get a lot more of his backstory expanded. His mother seemed like a touchier subject to him than it was in the novels.

Very cool flashback scenes for Quinlan. Simply badass how he handled the spider kids. Even did the move Vuan was teaching Gus.

The books are amazing I highly recommend them, there have been quite a few changes for the show.

As far as I remember from the books he does have worms and the long tongue the other strigoi have.

Question : The Ancients are the oldest, what is the Master relationship to them ? Is he an Ancient who went rogue or a very old converted by an Ancient ?

He has the stinger and white blood, but not any worms. Due to the nature of his birth he didn't get any, so he's not infectious to humans.

Did GDT direct the ep? It's just Quinlan's big action scene entrance in present day had his flair to it.

Ah, sorry, 2nd season starts here tomorrow so wasn't sure how much was shown. I don't want to give it all away but the The Ancients and the Master [BLACKOUT]are linked to Angels[/BLACKOUT] so that gives you some indication of how old they are. The Master/Sardu is the youngest though.

Palmers romance with his assistant subplot is still boring.

I hope Eph kills Palmer.

Liked the Quinlan flashbacks.
