I want this twist where the assistant is a double agent and was working for Quinlan or someone from the good side.
I think that theory has strong merit

I can't WAIT to see the expression on the face of Eldridge Palmer's assistant when she finally discovers the truth about him...
she's just so ass-kiss fawning over him that I'm gonna LOVE seeing her opinion of him come crashing down, the stupid cow...

hey, anyone that thinks that someone like Palmer is so damn PERFECT that he can't do no wrong the way SHE takes him to be, IS a blind stupid-ass...
I didnt get the impression that she thinks he is perfect. She knows Palmer does stuff thats questionable. She asked him about it. She probably just thinks that its typical company espionage and wall street type stuff. No normal person would ever suspect that their boss works for an immortal hell spawn. I thinks she's just taking advantage of an uber rich man's infatuation with her.

She has passed the level of believable ignorance with all the evil machinations going on. Either she is playing him or she is just unbelievably stupid.

Was Eph's buddy who got shot in the head the guy who is playing Lucifer?
lol Eichorst, you crybaby nazi piece of s***.

Quinlan is one of his favorite characters. Did you feel that pressure?
The pressure really comes from the guy who ends up being Vaun, because he was my favorite character on the show and when they told me they were replacing him... they needed someone who was a little more physically able to do the role as well. I have to do lots of sword fighting and jumping around, things like that.
So I was basically taking over from someone I thought was fantastic. To step into his shoes is what the pressure is. As a fan, Im sort of upset that hes no longer in the show. Im nervous about people thinking that he should have stayed as Quinlan. But Guillermo made me feel nothing but confident and comfortable about it. He watched the first few days I was on set filming and was very involved in my look and the makeup. I do feel nervous that people are going to not like him. This Quinlan is very different than the books. Im a bit more human than the Quinlan in the books. The book people might take a bit of time to get used to it.

'The Strain's' Rupert Penry-Jones: "This Quinlan Is Very Different Than the Books"
They've probably humanised him more than what we saw of him in the novels, stuff like his backstory with his [blackout] Wife and daughter [/blackout] is something I could see them exploring in greater detail. He's already more humanised in a physical sense by the nature of him having a nose, ears and physically speaking, as the actor pointed out.
