Guillermo del Toro's The Strain coming to FX - Part 1

Those two are just as bad as each other. Rat dude is the joker of the team, he keeps things fun :3

If that opening ever became a full length. I'd watched it.

Do the Ancients not have anyone else besides Vaun to reach out to Gus? It was kind of sad seeing his poor defeated ass wandering from place to place trying to figure out his next move. Thought the Master mocking him would get him fired up to get back into the fight. Nope. The cute Indian chick and confirming Angel's past was the highlight of his day. Gus does need to join team Eph.

The virus works! And the master counters with a mass suicide. Whatever works.

lol @ Fet.

I wonder if "mom" plans on turning her son into a vamp. If she really loves him, I don't see why she would.

The old Lucha vid at the beginning was great, what was the significances of the final scene of the ep?

I think that with him forcing the infected to commit suicide they know there is a weakness in them to exploit.

Remember he is called the MASTER for a reason, there is no free choice.

I keep thinking vamp Mom will just keep killing all her 'kids' every time you see them together. Creepy .__.

Good to know. I wasn't sure how the ratings were for it but I assumed they had to be decent.

Glad its getting a 3rd season, and I'm very glad that they have a concrete plan and are only going 5 seasons. Hopefully FX gives the show 5 seasons.

Can someone explain, is Vaun like a good guy or just a neutral party? So do the elders just want things to stay as the are and live in secret as myths and stuff? And the Master like basically outed them, hence infighting.

That's what I'm taking out of it. It seems that the Master is being a sort of rebel if you like, and the elders want to get him under control, that their secret was never meant to get out.

Vaun/The Ancients want to live in the shadows, and basically have a constant symbiotic relationship with humanity. They remain hidden and feed off humans to survive, but otherwise allow things to remain as they are. The Master, being the youngest of their number wants to basically rule over the humanity and reduce them to cattle.

If they plan on following the events of the book/comic to a T then [BLACKOUT]she will keep Zack around and eventually groom him to be the master's next host after Gabriel.[/BLACKOUT]

Damnit, smallville fan. A warning would have been nice.

Well what happens in the book =/= what happens in the show always. It's kind of like The Walking Dead. For example, Dutch was never in the books, and Kelly was never in charge of the Feelers and Setrakian never experimented with the worms and the bio-weapon Eph and Nora cooked up was never a thing that happened.

It doesn't matter, Smallville. You just don't spoil big plot points from the source material, but say "Oh, it might not happen!"

He is Milos brother, isn't he? Spoilers don't concern him because they might not happen.:whatever:

And good bye wig.

The start was creepy. Those kids are fast.
