Seriously. That kid needs to die or be turned and killed or just thrown out with the trash. That was totally unnecessary and wrong. All so they can follow some cliched pattern of giving the lead a reason to be angry as if everything else wasn't reason enough.

How the **** is this a new idea or approach? It's the oldest damned cliche in the books.

Yeah if they wanted to try something new or different they would have killed Eph and gave Nora the lead. Eph already had motivation. An evil, dead wife, a dumbass kid, and the encroaching apocalypse. A dead girlfriend wasn't needed.

If they had to kill someone they should have killed the kid. Or here is a quaint idea...not write characters as complete ****tards. A revolutionary and mind blowing idea, I know.

I don't even root for The Master but [blackout]seeing him kill Coco and Palmer crying[/blackout] was so delicous to see.

Should've happened ages ago.

They even had an entire episode dedicated to Eph showing his son that his mother was gone, dead, not the same woman he knew. He is old enough to understand what is happening in New York City and has seen these monsters, not to mention he just saw her kill a woman that his basically been his surrogate mother this entire time and he seems perfectly fine that she is injured is just rage inducing.

Nora shouldn't have hesitated and just chopped off her head. The bad guys didn't really take any huge blows and this should've been one of them especially when we've been doing it all season long.

While I agree to deviating from source material at times, this was kind of not what I'd have liked to see happen and this is poor writing at its finest.

My guess Dutch will now take Nora's place and fill out the role she had in the books/comics?

Either the writers are using him only as a plot device to irritate the viewers and to throw wrenches into plans and storylines or the writers really don't realize how horrible the character is. Neither possibility is good.

And I'm over Dutch at this point so her taking Nora's place would just be awful. She lacks even a fraction of the motherly instinct and care that Nora had and projected.

Her, Eph, and Zack were going to drop Zack off at his grandparents in Georgia or Florida. The subway train they are on is derailed by Zack's mom. Eph is separated from them and Nora takes Zack and they flee down the tunnel. Zack's mom gets to them before Eph can so Nora fights Mommy Dearest in the subway tunnel and is about to cut her head off and Zack yells for her to not do it. Nora looks at him for a second and Zack's mom latches onto Nora's arm with her tongue. Zack yells for his mom to stop. She stops and Zack walks up to her and embraces her and they leave together. Zack just left Nora to die. Eph shows up and finds Nora and shines a uv light on her face and neck. She is infested with worms. He tells Nora they will find a way to save her, but she says it's ok and that it's already done. She then touches a piece of rebar to the third electrical subway rail and electrocutes herself to death.

It's pretty accurate up until the death scene. But that's a ******** deviation in my eyes, I know they need to keep book readers guessing as well but I am not happy with that one as she was one of the best characters in the book. They better have something good up their sleeves to make up for it is all I will say.

Yeah, the boy is a plot devise for his father. The boy should have changed his opinion on his mother after the last incident, but he's just the same. What happened at the end is all on him.

The siege Eichorst led to try and take the book from the Professor is what he should have attempted on that church the night before the auction. I'm surprised he actually went the semi-legit route with the whole auction thing.

So glad the master put an end to the Palmer/Coco lovefest and ultimately reminded Palmer where his place is. Silly Coco, what the hell were you thinking?

It's always awesome seeing Quinlan & Gus. As silly as it has become seeing Eichorst run away again. He had a real good reason this time.

I hope they aren't making plans to have [blackout]Dutch as the permanent female of the crew with Nora gone.[/blackout] I've had it with her. If they add Councilwoman badass. I'd be cool with that. Definitely will be paying attention to the off season casting news.

I like [BLACKOUT]Dutch[/BLACKOUT] for the most part but I agree that it doesn't feel right if [BLACKOUT]she is becomes the new female lead[/BLACKOUT]. Anyway, I highly doubt [BLACKOUT]she will be.[/BLACKOUT]... They'd probably get a new one to a play a new character.
